great thoughts guys!

The main characters i would like for them to go are probably Johnny Cage (terrible storyline, dont like costumes and moves) and maybe Jax or Sonya.

I know a lot of people would miss scorpion if he did leave, and i know ed would too so i think it's best to keep him in, but maybe change his storyline.

i think sub-zero should have a new look to him. Maybe this time he should be completely 100% made of ice.

I think Jax and Sonya should quit the special forces and just become warriors. or maybe change their storyline.

As for Raiden, i think he shouldn't be elder god. he should be a normal warrior.

Mokap should also change his storyline because it is the same as Johnny cages. And so should blaze since the Dragon King has been born.

The only "classic" characters...scratch that. The only characters in general that I think should go away and never come back are Jax and Liu Kang

I agree and disagree with this. First part, I definately agree. Cage, Sonya, and Jax can all go, I didn't particularly like any of them. Scorpion and Sub-Zero should absolutely stay, but the 100% ice appearance for Sub-Zero is sketchy, I mean, he's still just a human. Raiden should not be an elder god, but he also shouldn't just be a warrior, he should stay the guardian of Earthrealm like he usually does. As for Mokap, he isn't even a 'real' character, more like a joke. He shouldn't return ever.

as for jax and sonya they were never my favorite characters i kinda liked jax in MK 3 but not in deadly alliance. despite others opinions i like lui kang but they should have left him out of this game maybe do with him like reptile and smoke let him pop up sometimes lettimg his presence be known and then be playable in the next MK. raiden should take a break and maybe let fujin step in.

If you go by the current story of Sub-zero, he should die of old age in the next two or three games.

Those are the two characters I were going to name.I think Johnny Cage is the lamest player ever.Besides Bo Rai cho.Cmon throw up?

Personally (No fame intended), i think that would be a horrible idea. You can't just replace a classic for some new character it just doesn't work like that. Although, I think they could tweak and twist Scorp and Sub-Zero's stories, especially Scorpions. I mean, Scporpion have just been same thing over and over and I think it's getting boring. Sub-Zero, on the other hand, has got a good thing going with Sektor and all it just needs to come to a rising point with climax soon. I think if they wanted they could lay off the characters for a game.
