Really, there was only two tournaments; one in MK, and one in MKII. After that, everything was freelance, brawl-for-alls. Should MK:D return to its tournament roots? Let me know. Fatality.

I don't think MK:D should return to a tournament, but definately after MK:D it should go back to some kind of tournament.

Well, online mode should at least have a tournament style setting... and be a real, live tournament, too. Fatality.

Tournament style online mdoe would be awesome. When it's not your turn to play you could spectate other matches. That would be amazing... But, Ed said it's NOT gonna be done in this game... sad

It should be, I agree. I think this has been covered, but I could be wrong. As a matter-of-fact, I don't know at all. I just sounds like it should have been. But, yeah, I miss the tournament days, rather than the random fights. Everything has no order or anything. Mortal Kombat? Bah! It's now Final Fight in sequence.

i think that they shud leave it as it is in MKD and MK7 and later if they decide to make other mk fighting games (if mk7 is the last), they shud get a whole new cast of characters (w/ a few old ones like Rayden and Scorpion since they are immortal) and start mk all over again from a NEW generation....that wud be cool

MK:D NEEDS to return to the tournament roots of MK1 & 2. And, it annoys me that MK:D won't have online tournaments.
