I dont know if this has been posted before but should this game go to arcades... It will let us play the game a month earlier probably before it comes out for consols...
I would love for it to come out at the Arcades.

I would say no, since arcades aren't profitable anymore( at least here in the USA were Midway is located) , besides the console versions will offer alot more than an arcade could.

speaking for myself only, i dont go to arcades...EVER. Come to think of it, i never went to arcades back in the day either. Only on special occasions like being in Seattle and i went to the gaming zone which is hosted by microsoft. I did play Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 and 3 a little bit in the arcades, but not much when i was younger.

I am a straight console man myself, and with Deception coming out online, an arcade version would be obsolete. Thats the whole rationale behind the online aspect, to bring players together again.

Besides, i cant manuever with those crappy joysticks at the arcades, and press buttons with the tips of my forefinger...i am a thumb thomper all the way.."they call them fingers, but ive never seen them fing."

There was an arcade in the mall in Evansville, IN where I live near and I used to play MK4 and UMK3 there constantly(and MVC1 and 2 a lot). Last time I went to an arcade was about three days ago. They had DDR extreme, but I didn't get on that due to it being crowded. They had a boxing game that sensed my movements as I ducked and whatnot, but the left glove didn't work so I got more of a workout than intended by the time I figured out the left glove wasn't working...
Anyway to the subject, it would be cool, but entirely not necesary. I think I would return to arcades for it, but I don't think many others would... later

I still remember playing MK1 in the arcades the first week it came out on the east coast. Good times.

Hate to say it but arcades died like 10 years ago (and even then they were barely hanging on). Theres just no point in them. Why go and waste all that money when you could be at home playing one of your own games for free and if this game really is all that good you can buy it later anyway.
