I still strongly believe Rain will be playable in MKD. With the right twists, Rain could be a mega hit. I read earlier on the board a synopsis of what Rain's story could be, and one was that when he becomes the general of Edenia's army, Kitana falls for him, or vice versa, or hell they both fall into it. But Rain is someone who shouldn't be left out of MKD, and I don't think will be.

i thought that Rain had a story that could have been developed into something further... I'm not sure about MK:D but I'd hope to see him return in MK7... Along with a few old characters... As mentioned beforein this thread, i also feel that all the old characters deserve a comeback and a chance to advance and elaborate their storyline.. yes, even Reiko!! Lol

I think the best thing that could happen to Rain is to see his return in Mk7.

Seriously, I do think he has potential, more then some of the old ninjas we have already, but I don’t think he needs to be in this game.

I think some characters are being reserved for the future game, Rain might be one of those.

He was on my top three favorite ninja list alongside Scorpion and Sub-Zero (Classic) *Ninja Reptile and current Sub-Zero tie with Rain for third*

Definitely want rain he is so underrated....surely am hoping he is hidden somewhere in the game i can think of so many finishing moves that they can give him...also liked cyrax but oh well i guess time for a good change hopefully they come up with a mortal kombat anthology that has every single character sorta like mortal kombat triology but better even though mortal kombat trilogy was one of the downs of mortal kombats history...its something that everybody can be happy with cause it has all of your characters...

THat's right. He does. I only hope his ending was one of the real endings. And I also hope that even though he gave his own life to defeat Shao Kahn, he still failed like the wimpy, purple wearing ninja bastard he is.

yeah i use to think rain would sucks. rain? what kind of name is rain? then i saw an episode of him in conquests and he was badass. he beat up kung lao and used a lighning too.
i hope he's in,( besides conquest mode) and i think he'll will be

i sure hope so sub-zero i really want rain to be back he has only been in 1 mortal kombat he is so underrated...plus the fact that he has a good story line makes it even better!

A ninja hat trick...A hat trick is only 3... So more like a double hat trick.

I hope Rain is in MKD. His moves would be awesome in 3-D. Mainly his Force Ball and his Super Round House Kick. Nightwolf has his lighting so give him a new lighting attack and then just some totally new moves.

Rain, with the exception of smoke, is the best nonoriginal ninja (nonoriginal being -not in mk1-)

Rain can come back in MK7 if and ONLY if he gets a complete overhaul on his look, new moves and a decent reason to return.

I'd look forward to it. But MK needs new chicks more.
