Maybe, they could expand on her being a Netherealm Demon and possibly have her transform for a fatality. It seems they were setting MKD up to have her and Sektor in it due to the MKTE ending... Noob Saibot is already in it, so no worries there, I think this mk game might have the most complex storylines ever...

Sareena should return.more fighters will bring more fun to kill them all.

She was in MK Mythologies and she was actually a playable character in MK TE.

Can someone enlighten me on Sareena a bit, as shes the only person I know nothing about....

Whats her relationship, if any, with Sub Zero? Whats her story basically?

Sareena was first introduced in Mortal Kombat Mythologies as one of three of Quan Chi's personal assassins in the Netherealm. Sareena and her fellow assassins Kia and Jatakka were to stop the original Sub-Zero when he got into Shinnok's pyramid. However when Sub-Zero defeated Sareena he choose to spare her life and in return Sareena helped Sub-Zero defeat Quan Chi by uppercutting him off the bridge. She tries to convince Sub-Zero to take her when he escapes the Netherealm but Shinnok shoots a beam of energy behind her and pretty much kills her (I guess her soul goes to a lower Netherealm). Anyways during MKTE she found a portal to escape the Netherealm and she figures out how to maintain her beauty without Quan Chi's sorcery. In Sareena's ending it says she found Sub-Zero in outworld and that Sub-Zero offered Sareena asylum within the Lin Kuei clan for helping his brother, and the ending also gives hint that Sareena may somehow betray Sub-Zero.

sareena in my opinion is one of the more mysterious fighters, we still dont know alot about her past, or her future, hopefully she'll return as she is under-rated, unlike that over-rated piece of garbage scorpion, anyway she needs to return... or i am going to be pissed off at ed boon.

I hope Sareena returns. I've had high hopes for her since MK:Mythologies and I was happy to find she was in MK:TE, even though I don't own a Gamebow Advance.

Personally, I hope her story is something more than she simply betrays Sub-Zero at the first chance. For one, that's way too predicatable. Two, that makes Sub-Zero look like a jackass ("I was betrayed by a demon from Hell?! I never would have guessed!"). And three, I think she could do better than that.

Since Ashrah is rumored to be a demon hunter and Sareena is an escaped demon, we could see something interesting come out of that.

What about Frost?

I wouldn't be surprized if she tried to kill Subby.

Exactly, maybe something like that. Point is, I don't want her just be another typical traitorous bitch. I mean, isn't that what we have Tanya for? I think Sareena can so much more than that.

This is just my opinion, but I think it'd more interesting to see Sareena, who is a soulless hellspawn demon with evil and killer instincts, genuinely try to turn good in spite of her demonic tendencies.
IMO, I think that makes for a more interesting character than a demon who is, guess what, evil.
