What I mean is like from MK2, where only doing the fat, sitting and watching wasn't enough! U had to keep going, or hurry and prepare for the fat. For example, Reptile's, wher u had to hurry and become invisible so u could do his 2nd fat. or Kung lao, where u had to sligtly push up just right so the hat would chop off the head...

I think these would make the fatalities even more fun and would keep ur a$$ in ur hand... like old-time fats... those where HARD

or they could jus bring back brutalities, but those are hard to do.

Ye, i miss the old days where the Fatalities used to be harder to pull off. Now days everything is a sinch, i miss the challenge.sad

I would love it if they brought back the "hands-on" fatalities. Doing Sub-Zero's deep freeze would be a classic to remember.

Also, i wish the Fatalities would be MUCH harder to pull off. The button combinations should be longer, and the Fatality time should be just about 5 seconds. To me, that would be a dream come true.smile

I liked the way MK:DA's fatalities worked. We don't need the franchise to go back to how MK3 was when you spent more time practicing and remembering finishes than you did the actual fight.

Geez, I've been a member since MKDA was just a pic of Scorpion and Jax looking at each other and I have less than 2,000 visits. I should really log in more...

I thought MKDA's style was horrible. You press a couple of buttons and then you'd do a crappy fatality. They should go back to the original style, longer button sequences and having to get a certain distance from the opponent (like in MKDA, you could be right under the opponent's nose with Scorpion and when you push the buttons you'd automatically be full distance from them...that was kind of lame).

yes this is a great idea!! make the fatalities challenging again!!! like w/ shang u have to hold on to lp for over 30 seconds of the last round,or w/ raiden hold hp for over 10 seconds meaning u had to be cocky and hold on to it before the fight was over.. i didnt like the fact that u could be anywhere on the screen in mkda press a few buttons then poof ur character is standing in a different spot and does his fatal.. dumb.. but it looks like this is how it will be in mk deception sad

I liked those, but only 2 or 3.

No more. Its kind a annoying when you cant do it, but hey, I guess thats the true fun of it.

I would like to see 2 part Fatalities or "hands-on" as you're calling it. Almost the same premise as a chain throw in tekken. You do the first part... but if you're good you can finish it off right. Or have 2 endings to the same beginning part. One that I always though about was Baraka's stab Fatality in MK2... after he slides down the blades I though it would be awesome if you could tap in another combination and it would rip him open.

It would keep it a little bit more interesting and keep it from feeling like you're just watching a cut-scene. That's how MKDA felt to me. The camera doesn't move... it just cuts, then the stage is black, the characters have moved into position...I feel like I missed a sequence or something.

And like a lot of you are saying. I also hate that correct spacing ISN'T a factor when doing Fatalities!
