Ah... Um, yeah. I should really read the whole post before I post. Sorry about that! I get the whole theme thing now.

Ya know, I'm just throwing this out there, but it'd be kinda cool to do a NCAA style tournament bracket. Now I know there aren't exactly 64 characters in the series, but the number isn't that far off. Maybe you have a popularity vote for all characters, than seed them accordingly and the least popular have playoff games to get in as the final seeds.

You know, something like:

The Fatality Bracket

yada yada

The Uppercut Bracket
1. Scorpion v 16. Meat
2. Baraka v 15. Motaro
so on and so on

You get the idea. People would vote on each matchup as to whom they'd want to win until the champion is declared. Of course by champion, I just mean the character that most people want to see in the next game, than the 2nd most etc.

I'd be curious to see who came out of that and what kind of upsets occurred. Who knows, maybe there are alot of people out there that want to see Sub Zero sit the next game out.
