I know i am going to get a negative response to this but i think that the old guy on the select screen that everyone thinks might be shujinko(mispelled) might actually be mortal kombat 1 version of shang tsung. What do you all think?

I think Shujinko is just a young kid who's training because the eldergods ask Bo-rai-cho for warriors to fight against the dk.

I actually thought this as well. Shang being stripped of his youth after the DA loss. Makes a lot more sense than just putting the Konquest character on the select screen.
