Shujinko's role in Deception...(Interesting thought)

In the past, characters' endings were always "What-ifs," and no one knew which ending actually took place until the next MK game came out. Only after the new game hit the market did we discover which ending(s) actually did take place.

My thought is, that IF Shujinko is the sole warrior who can defeat the Dragon King (as is speculated by some) this would leave no doubt as what happens. His ending would be the official ending and the story could be told from his perspective. This would allow the creators to kill off whomever they choose during his ending. Not to mention set up a good prolouge for the next game.

What are your thoughts ?

yeah that sounds good to me. Although, if it is known that his ending is the real ending, then we can expect the path of the story. Meaning we can guess what lies ahead. Which in a way is not neccesarily a bad thing. We had to wait a whole 2 years almost to see what happened to the deadly alliance (i actually havent seen the intro yet). But if shujinko's ending sets the framework for the next installment, we can styart to specualte what kind of twists and plot outlines are sure to follow.

That sounds like a good idea, but then that presents another Decpetion in getting us to think that.

If this is the case, then I expect his ending will be very short and brief and only give a few details so as not to ruin much for MK7. It'll leave room for plenty of specualtion however.

I agree that the wait was rather long. But this might make for a better story in the long run.

Or perhaps they could tell a little piece of the ending with each character. Then after the game is beat with everyone, the full story is revealed.

There is just a vast amount of story being told with so many characters siding with different "factions" i.e. Chaos, Order, etc..

I am really looking forward to seeing what the writer's have in store for us this time 'round.
