Sindel's Scream in MK Deception

posted05/06/2004 05:54 PM (UTC)byOk so we've seen that Nightwolf has his shadow shoulder ram move, and his Arrow shot, so most likely Sindel will have her scream returned to her....Which brings me to the point of this thread. I believe they should change the effect her Scream has on opponents...Instead of an imobilization move, I think it whould be used to damage the other player, I also think that it should shake the arena and destroy Pillers and other interactive stage things. The opponent should drop to their knees holding there ears and writhing in pain. I think it would be so much more interesting this way, What do you think?

That sounds awesome, Sindel is my fav char of all time and i hope that they make her good. It sounds cool having her scream destroy stuff in the arena, and it would seem more correct if it would hurt then instead of pull u toward her. But i would kinda rather have it pull the person toward u because its a very useful. I just really hope they give her good fighting styles and not that crappy eagle claw like seen in that trailer.

Hmmmm,a disabling move.Sounds pretty cool.
I'm not so sure about destroying interactive-enviroments,though.
Yeah it was just an idea, because if you see a "Sonic Scream" type move in shows, Movies (X-Men 2 and Comics, it's effect is always to incapacitate humans temporarely or to destroy inanimate objects. I just thought it'd be more convincing if Sinde's Scream did this as well. Just an idea. Well maybe she won't destroy stuff, but if she Screams it'd be cool to see the arena shake.

Yes her scream is useful the original way for combos and stuff, but I just find it boring. I would like to see a change, but that's just IMO.

Well they did say they will have all their classic moves + never before seen ones, who knows maybe there could be 2 diff screams, maybe a long one the brings u in and a quick screech that does damage. I think that would be really cool

Hey that's cool. I like that idea. Then we both get what we want. Also it could be like two different tones. That would be awesome.

Yeah Sindel should definitely have her scream back. Like the idea of it shaking the whole arena. I mean its a really powerful scream, maybe they'll only have her use it as a fatality tho, coz making it too powerful might be too adventurous.

Hmmm...maybe it would be cool if it were used as a Fatality instead, like she screamed at you so loudly the she burst you ear drums, and turned your braint to goo. LOL

I really like the idea.
I also hope they change her styles!!!! Please dont think about bringing back styles that sucked! get rid of cyrax's and kitanas please!!!

this cant be done this sounds more like a sub boss move itz takes to long and is far to powerfull for a normal figter second of all how you gonna block that move impossible, and drop to your knees? sounds like a cheesy attack to me just do that over and over again and the opponent has no way 2 fight back

I like the idea TomTaz. I noticed you've stopped saying it ripped off the fanlift!
The effect would be cool. However the arena would have to break and collapse everytime it was done. Maybe a super sonci version could be put in. I'd still want the original scream in the game though.

I'd say she should have it but it should be tweaked, it should work simliar to like a ground stomp move. Instead of jumping into the 'sound waves' just have her scream and have it be extremely loud and if its not blocked, have them be disoriented for a moment so you can move in for the kill. Only blocking or jumping should allow you to escape its grasp. have it hit probably 2 to 2 1/2 character lenghts away.

It would be cool if she had a fatality version that smashed the windows and such of the arena. That would look very nice.
Either way, I just hope she has the scream. It gave her alot of originallity. I always like the idea of her being a sort of banchee.
