That idea sucks I like the idea of somke join the lin kuei or howeva it's spelt

as long as he is back to kick some ass I'm fine. Though it would be cool to have an internal struggle with his character trying to regain his humanity over his programming. Maybe he could be a wildcard character out to find out who he truly is. But yeah anyway I'm glad the misty clouded fighter has returned.

I just hope he's human!

I hope Smoke's smoke has a myst around him instead of puffs of smoke coming out of him. Also I'm glad he is back as well

Interesting thought, but honestly, Sub-Zero has enough enemies over the horizion as it is. Smoke is about the only remaining person he could actually trust, so I hope his loyality remains intact. I'm starting to feel sorry for Sub, always trying to the do the right thing and just adding more enemies in return.

I think that Smoke should'nt team up with anyone.He should have his own personal,mysterious story line.

Yeah, I agree. I think that although Smoke and Sub-Zero were comrades long ago there's no telling what happened to Smoke during this time frame. Who knows, maybe Sub-Zero will be on the recieving end of Smoke's fist.

Maybe Smoke has learned of Sektor's plans and is actually somewhere in Japan, trying to tear stuff up from the inside, as it were, in an attempt to help Subbie...

The current Sub-Zero and Smoke are/were allies. They both tried to escape being turned into robots, Smoke got caught but the current Sub-Zero helped him reclaim his identity. No mention of what happened to him after that...

Personally I think Sub-Zero could use Smoke's help about now. He has the Red Dragons ,Sektor's clan, various outworld enemies, and even serthisthingisdisabled of his on clan members out to get him. He need allies and Smoke's one of the few he could fully trust.

I think (I'm prone to being wrong) that Neither Smoke Nor Sub will betray each other. It would be a stupid move. he's one of the only ones who is true friends with subby.

i always thought smoke was the classic subzero.

anyway, red dragon isnt after subzero, that was a non canon ending(false)

also smoke is back and he isnt human or cyborg that is soooooo old and everybody knows that already so ima not even say its a spoiler.

also he doesnt need smoke to defend frozt and sareena.

didnt sareena turn good again and help the classic subzero in MK myths.

also, frozt didnt turn evil she got what she deserved by taking the dragon medal, but i still think she and sub are friends, she was forgiven.

Thats what I think/Hope.

I think having Smoke betray Sub(or vice versa) would be an incredibly stupid move.

A) Most Smoke fans are also Sub fans.

B) Having both characters in a game without their story intertwining would be a horrible waste of plot potential.

C) There is nothing in the past games that would ever indicate either character deceiving the other. Subzero has proven to make a full conversion to the alignment of good, and Smoke has been loyal since day 1.

It's been said Smoke is neither human, or cyber ninja. Doesn't leave a wide field of options as to what he actually is. Perhaps he's evolved somehow and is an elemental type of character like Blaze was, but made of smoke rather than fire.

Or he could be a shopping trolley with legs. Just gonna have to wait and see.
