Has anyone heard about what moves Smoke is going to have in Deception? I'm assuming he'll still have his spear unless they only want Scorpion to have that in this game. I hope they thought up some brand new kick a** custom moves for him. Even if you don't know about it and you like Smoke, post some "fantacy" move you think he should have that would seperate him from everyone else. I'm interessted to see how creative people can be when it come's to Mortal Kombat moves. grin

Welcome to MKO. Smoke isnt in the game.Well he and Noob Saibot are on a team like they are chosen as one character on the select screen. Their name is Noob-Smoke. Maybe someone else can describe them better then me.

I hope he doesn't have the spear. I hope they make some kind of dramatic changes to his moves, like they did for Reptile from MK I to MK II. He should have something involving actual smoke. What do you think???

I say give him his invisibility, teleport punch & maybe a new move where he surrounds the foe with a cloud of smoke so they are dazed for a few seconds, much like the effect of Sonya's Kiss move from Deadly Alliance.

Indeed i think that if they take away the spear it will seperate him from scorpion. Since that was originally Scorps. Also Smoke is one of my favorite characters!

I really agree with LinKueiAgent and Sub-Zero315. Taking the spear would really seperate Smoke from Scorpion. He REALLY should have the invisibility cloaking too, that would just be like the icing on the cake right there

Whatever he has it has to be shared with Noob lol. But i heared he has invisibillity, Tag-Team Punch with noob and something else...more im sure.

noob has the ability to turn invisable....it showed it in one of the trialors....but who was it orignally that could turn invisible on mk2...any takers on that questionwink

Remember how sub-zero has the one freeze technique where he basicly shakes ice off of him and it freezes the opposing player when he's next to him, that would kinda work if they gave it to Noob Smoke but made it a bunch of smoke. Not really disperce it in the same way but you get the idea tongue

someone's done posted that he does have his teleport punch and invisiblity and noob saibot can fall through the floor and pop out the ceiling (kinda like Mileena); can't remember what else though!!!

From what's been seen:
He's got a teleport kick kind of like Mileena's
When he tags out so Noob can fight, he disappears in a cloud of smoke. The enemy can choke on this.
He does not appear to have the spear.

It would be cool if they implemented Smoke's jump kick, teleport special move, spear, combo move or the other variation... jump kick, teleport special jump punch, air throw combo somehow into the game. Those were some of the best combos from MK 3.

Is your favorite color gray? Do enlighten me. Its almost like me saying my favorite character was a shadow priest...

Smoke is also one of my favorite characters he was just a pallet swap but i still liked his story. And he is (to me) Shaping up to be a pretty great character.

no i was answering the trivia question then addressing the smoke issue, which might I add have yet to get a real answer. I just don't see how "He was buddies with sub zero but he got turned into a ninja" would capture anyone into his fanbase.

Smoke is one of the best examples of a loyal friend the MK universe has seen. He has a kind soul, and honor. That's why I'm a Smoke fan.

The only reason why I'd pick him over Scorpion for the fight (excluding fatalities) was because he had 2 extra combos that was awsome in UMK3 which from what I've found not too many people know abt. til this day:
LK,LP (which would uppercut them) drop kick, teleport, spear, regular combo
or
LK,D+LP,D+HP (uppercut twice) then same as above
and he was also faster and the smoke was just an extra (who cares what color he was or what he looked like - he's not a fashion queen for cryin out loud!!!)

I hope they have Noobs combos though, his combo's would just like totally kill you. Smokes were good but they could have been like two hit's more, but that's just my opinion. I've been a fan of MK since it first came out and Smoke's been my fav. character since I ever played with him. I don't mind that he's combining with Noob but it may be a plus. I'm not meaning to sound mean right now but, you would only really ask someone a question like that to be kind of a smart ass lol. tongue
