I'm thinking either his zombie form is his alternate, or his ghost is. One of the 2. I wonder which one you actually see first.

I'm not sure if Lui Kang is a selectable character. I know his spirit/zombie was confirmed to be in the game, but he was confirmed to be a playable character or someone that just shows up in Konquest?

I originally thought that he would be a Konquest-only character. I think it would be cool if 'spirit Kang' resided in the Orderrealm and 'zombie Kang' in the Choasrealm to give it a ying and yang effect.

I think he will be selectable.They said every MK character is in konquest so I don't think they would have announced him for konquest.For his zombie/ghost,i'd have to agree and say its either his main/alt or fighting styles.

thats a pretty good theory IMO. i think that his spirit for could be the 10th "classic" character and his zombie form could possibly be the new character - Skab. notice the latest update of gameinformer confirming the new characters as dairou, hotaru, ashrah, ben and kira, but no skab, yet he should be one of the first confirmed characters because we have seen him in puzzle combat, in a still with subby and mileena, and we have a render of him.

I am wondering. If Liu Kang is a ghost how do you beat him? How can he break walls as ghosts can pass through them. Can he even beat you?

I think when he will do his fly kick... pardon, ghost fly kick... you'll see him pass trough our character.

Then he will make a ghostly sound wich will perhaps be more anoying.

Oh, what the hell, bring him back and see what he can do for us and what we can do for him, i.e, Are we gonna love him or hate him even more?

Well if he is a ghost and he is in kombat to fight, then much like rayden being an immortal god who wanted to compete and give up his immortality and become human to fight then no doubt a ghost who enters will be transformed into a solid for although remaining some ghostly powers

Scorpion is technically a ghost or "spectre" and he has a solid form. Perhaps thats the direction they will go with Liu Kang. I don't see why scorpion would repeatedly come back in a solid body and Liu Kang all of a sudden comes back in an ethreal ghostlike body. could be wrong but its just a theory after all.

Skab is totaly not the zombie lui kang. there is a pic of skab on that german site.

Actual Spectra Kang resides in the Netherealm and zombie Kang resides on the Earth Realm.
I think from what I heard is that You can play as Spectra Kang and Zombie Kang is his alternate.Im not entirely sure if thats true or not its was just a rumor over in Japan.

Hopefully one will be the alternate costume and ahve a seperate story. I think the spirit should represent Kangs good side and have a good alignment and the zombie form should have an evil side and an evil alignment.

I was reading thi sFan-Fic thing about Deception and it was saying that when Lui Kang died his soul went to the Netherealm where Shinnok stole his soul and is now using his body/aombie to fight the new chosen ones/Sub-Zero and Scorpion.
