So is this game basically all about MK2?

In the new preview I'm seeing MK2 characters, MK2 stages (portal,tower), and hearing about MK2 in the preview. So is this game basically all about MK2? I hope so because that is the second best MK game (next to deception)

Well the game could span from from alot of different games... couold be from pre mk1 to mk4 or something.

it spans MK2 up to the begining of MK3.
