He doesnt get killed in his ending.

He wasn't killed in his ending. He thought he was going to die but his armor made him stronger and he killed all the Tarkatans.

So Sub-Zero died in two of his enemies' endings. I doubt that means they'll happen.

He doesn't die in his own ending. He thinks he's going to, but with his new magic armour he is able to defeat the Tarkatas'. Atleast that's what the ending leads me to believe. Edit: lol wow, 3 people post at virtually the sametime. That's intense.

well boon did say that one of the characters in deception would die and never come back, then again he also said once that hed never make a Mortal Kombat without Scorpion and Sub Zero.....
but the thing about these endings that I like is that they never portray the whole truth as we see in many of the deadly alliance endings that were carred into deception like Scorpion's or Li Mie's where we dont really get the whole picture, and that leaves unlimited possibilities regarding Sub Zero's true fate....

Look at Scorpion's ending in MK:DA....... In this ending he was teared apart and been destroyed.... Does he came back in MK:Deception? Yes, he does.... Also ending of Frost in MK:DA.. Just think about it people.... Endings mean almost nothing....

Sub-Zero Ending: He ambushed by a group of Tarkatans.
Kenshi Ending: Hotaru tries to catch him but Kenshi kills Hotaru.
Hotaru Ending: Hotaru catches Sub-Zero and kill him.
Noob - Smoke Ending: Noob & Smoke kill Sub-Zero in Netherealm.
Probably Sub-Zero survives the attack of the Tarkatans, and after this incident, Hotaru goes behind Sub-Zero and tries to catch him. Probably the Kenshi Ending or Hotaru Ending happened (or either because someone other kills Hotaru, or Sub-Zero himself kills Hotaru), but the Noob - Smoke endings not happened (the part of they kill Sub-Zero), only appears Sub-Zero to explain better the Noob - Smoke Ending.

Fighting game endings are never really any good. So far, I've seen Scorpion kill the Dragon King, Tanya kill the Dragon King, and Sindel kll the Dragon King. So, he's gotta be dead, but who actually killed him? Doesn't matter, but they should have at least picked one.

that doesn't mean the DK is dead... look at Deadly Alliance endings to the story in Deception
in every ending, at least one member of the DA was killed (well, besides the non-connected characters' like Nitara, Cyrax, Reptile, etc) but in Deception, we find that none of those endings actually happened, as Raiden has to square off against Quan Chi and Shang Tsung (so whatever happened to Kano?)
another thing that's shitty about the story from DA to D... what's with the Undead, Undefeatable Army? What is the purpose of Onaga using the Tarkatan horde when he has control of a mummefied army? and where in DA did it even say that Quan and Shang were even using the help of Tanya and the Tarkatans?

in boon's video interview, he said his two fav characters are sub-zero and scorpion, that is why they are in all mk games, except for that reject mk mythology game called special forces..... but boon as long as he is with the company they will always be sub and scorpion....

I always wondered something about Sub-Zero's ending.
The Tarkatan warrior says "Long live the dragon king" as he's dying... that leads me to believe that the Dragon King possessed Sub Zero (much like he did Reptile)... because, the dragon king has already been defeated, why would he say "Long live the dragon king" if Sub Zero WEREN'T the dragon king?

Because the Tarkatan are very loyal to Onaga. And, if Sub-Zero was possessed by the Dragon King... the Tarkatan doesn't try to kill him. And I'm pretty sure that in the Sub-Zero Ending, Onaga wasn't defeated yet.

BEcause subzero has always been associated with the dragon as soon as he got hold of that amulet... However, i expect a twist in the tale somewhere and i do think that it will be involving subzero... As everyone already knows, subzero has a lot of enemies in this one(not sure if scorpion still counts but over the length of the series i guess he does), and as each ending USUALLY describes the ideal situation and consequence for the involved character, it is entirely acceptable that subzero is killed in his enemies' endings.
As far as a character being killed off for good in this one, if it is even true, i have my bets on who it is. And i bet it is either going to be Baraka or Mileena. Mileena more likely...

I always assumed it was because of the Tarkata's loyalty to the Dragon King until I considered Sindel's Ending. If you haven't beat it with her yet I won't spoil it.
