I wondered the same thing, the Kotaku article seems to point to Hal Jordan, but I was curious as to whether or not they would use Jon Stewart, for diversity purposes as the DC Side is ethnically the same at the moment.

It will most likely be the black guy, whatever his name is, just for the sake of diversifying the game.

Hal never got any attention in the DCAU, he was in for like a second during a time shift with John Stewart.. He needs more attention.

hal is the most iconic comic book green lantern so it's more than likely him. i was hoping for john stewart but his personality might be to similar to jax.

Umm...what? The cartoon is the only place where John DOES have a personality. In the comics he's an underdeveloped background character.

Because Hal wasn't in the cartoon, like I said, only during a time shift where he switched with John for about 10 seconds, with one or two lines. So you can't base it on the cartoon.

The easiest way I can think of to describe Hal's personality is he's like the "maverick/loose cannon" hero of an action movie from the 80's like your Die Hards and Lethal Weapons and Top Guns. It's all "I don't have time for this!" punching people in the face when they get in the way and one night stands with the ladies instead of having any longterm commitments.
Personally, he's probably my single favorite comic book character.
