I don't really like him that much. For me..his combos are a little hard to do and he's too stiff. He only has two speacial moves and i would like for him to have more(his lava blast is really cool though). I think Hotaru would have been a really cool character if he would have more moves and not be so stiff...but that's just my opinion.

He has defenate potential, but he's not very fun to fight with. He's all about order at all costs, even if it means Onaga being the ruler of the realms. If they shape him up a little bit more I wouldn't mind him being in another game.

Yah he's one of the almost ok new guys. Fighting wise he lacks almost any combo ablility. Which sounds bad but probably makes him overly powerful. For example he has a 2...thats 2 hit combo that scores around 28% damage. Most 5-8 hit style switch combos cant get that. Just seams wrong that
a. you don't have to work for it. and
b. gives you little time to break it compared to longer strings that do the same damage.
Mainly he is made to just hit hard and not combo. He uses Scopion's second fighting style form the last game If you remember how comboless that was. His main fighting style is probably even less combo friendly. Then there's the only 2 specials thing. He seams to lack any real fun value all though I bet he is good in a fight.

I think that hotaru is the best new character. His style branching combo (that goes through 3 styles) is easy to do and looks awesome. He is very powerful with regular fighting so he only has 2 special moves.
