That ending never happened

I see....so how did Lui get ressurected? :|, and why are his body and spirit separate? O_o

Deception's intro has both Quan Chi and Shang Tsung killed. When Tsung was killed all the souls he had collected were released, included Liu Kang. MK : Deception has so many plot holes unlike past MK games. One of the many plot holes include who was in control of Liu Kang's body, so I can't answer that. Not even Konquest answers that. In any case Liu Kang(spirit) finds his body after the death of Tsung. I am not sure whether before or after he returns in his dead body he finds out that someone or something has been using his body as a tool of destrution. Who ever the person or thing is somehow knows everything fighting wise everything Kang knew. Kang's (both evil force and good force) fight it out with one another for control of Kang's body.

I'm almost willing to bet that when Shang Tsung died, he found his way to Liu Kang's corpse. I think it'll take more than that to finally silence Shang. Or perhaps the DK resurrected the body?
The point is, Liu Kang's soul was unable to return the body because it was already in use by someone. And in Liu's ending, when they combine into one again...i'm thinking Havik has something to do with that, with Onaga's heart...seems like the endings might be linked.
Perhaps he intended to resurrect both Kahn and Liu so their clashes may continue?
