ok i apologize if im reiterating an old piece of news but i was flickin through the new play magazine in the uk, lookin at the mk feature there and theres a big kind of background picture of a guy who looks like hes in similar-ish clothes to like the ninjas (as in scorpion), the costumes kind of purpley and the guy doesnt have a mask but he has a kind of helmet, his face is a skull around his mouth as if the flesh has been ripped off his face.

That would be Skab, one of the new characters for MKD. He reminds me a bit of Reiko.

I haven't seen any pics of Skab yet. I don't even have him in my list of confirmed characters, but he sounds interesting.

MK:D sounds like it will be a ninjafest.

Hmm..his outfit does kind of remind me of Reiko also. I remember reading a theory someone had about skab, saying that maybe he is Reiko. Putting on Shao Kahn's mask could have done something to him for his face to rot....but he's probabaly most likely the 3rd oni.
