Soundtrack?

Umm... I was wondering, if this hasn't been to broadly discussed in the past... MKD will have virtually everything improved, but what about the soundtrack? Any idea what ingame music is gonna sound like? Is it still gonna be the same lame beats? (No offense to Dan Forden)

But what do they mean by that... You can say that that's what we heard in MKDA. But it could be so much better... I want faster music, something to pump a person up before and during a fight.
its really good.
best example = yinyang stage - during the day,its tropical, steel drums and bongo's (like mario sunshine) then theres a big crash of thunder when it changes and the music turns to something more like a MK stage soundtrack then *CRASH* back again!
the falling tower (crumbling stage) - has chanting , sounded a bit like native american indian type music
those 2 stood out more because they were different

Well, as long as it's better than MKDA, chanting is always cool, chanting gets people pumped up.
You could watch gameplay vids and listen to the music even if it's kind of hard to hear with all the screams and stuff.
MKD's music sounds pretty much like the type of music Mk always had. Moody and ambiant. The select sreen music is very industrial and slow paced sounding.

From what I've heard, I'd say that this game has the best soundtrack since (get ready for it) MKII. It's perfect. At times dark and ominous as all hell (Sky temple, netherbelly), and at other times industrial and guitar-paced. It's one of my fave MKD featues so far.

Good to know! I was actually gonna say "Same as ever" whether it meant MKDA or MK2, and I was hoping it would be MK2.

MKD should have music similiar to the KI series.
KI had really good beats and soundtracks.

they should have put in custom soundtracks

Yeah I agree that song by the immortals always got me pumped up. Industrial/Techno/Rock with mystical and chinese backed themes I think will make a totally killer sound track. The reggea/stell drum composition sounds pretty awesome too.
