It seems everyone keeps knocking Special Forces and they do not want them back for MK6.
The same thing goes for Red/Black Dragon members.

You people are total fools!

Both Special Forces & Black Dragon have been involved in the game from the very start. You can't just get rid of them with a click of the fingers!
It would be like removing all members of Lin Kuei clan as well!

So let's get this straight as to what you want in the next game.
You don't want Sonya, Jax, Kenshi, Kano, Mavado, Hsu Hao, Kabal & Jarek.

And because you want to get rid of a main part of the story, you may as well get rid of the Lin Kuei at the same time - so there goes Scorpion, Subzero, Frost, Smoke, Sektor, & Cyrax.

Hell, while we're at it why not remove the Brothers of the Shadow. I'm sick of them being involved. There goes Noob & Reiko!

Hey! Why not get rid of the White Lotus Society as well. Liu Kang is already dead, Kai isn't around so we may as well give Kung Lao the flick!

I'm also sick of the sob story when it comes to Edenia. Kitana, Sindel, Rain, Tanya & Jade should never return!

As for the Shokan race! OMG! Haven't we seen enough of them yet?!? Goro, Kintaro & Sheeva! Get rid of the race altogether!!

You just have to get rid of the Centaurians if you get rid of Shokan! So there goes Motaro! Bye bye...

Do you want to keep the Gods? Shinnok, Fujin & Raiden? i mean sure Raiden has played a HUGE part in the story, but what does that matter? We're sick of hearing about that! Kill 'em!

Get rid of Oni, so Drahmin & Moloch are gone!

That sure does take a large chunk of the characters out of action for the next game.

Special Forces & Black Dragon have played an integral part of the storyline for the MK series, so I cannot see how you would just want to get rid of them. Sure enough some of the characters do suck, but get rid of the characters, or atleast improve on them. But not get rid of part of the backbone to the game itself.

What do you want the game to be? Humans (with no storyline, just regular people from the streets! They can't be on a mission of some kind....noooooo we don't want that) vs Outworld Warriors. That would be a pretty shitty storyline if there were no other plots to work around.

So who do we have in the next game if you want to get rid of the stories that started with the game?

Well that still leaves the Ninjas and Johnny Cage, thats good enough... j/k, I like them, but certain people from the things you mentioned need to hang around.

I might have said for either Sonya or Jax to go, but not both of them. The Red/Black Dragon rivalry should be explored more in my opinion. Have you happened to read any of my posts? I am totally against too many new characters. At lease one person out of every group you mentioned I put in my MK6 storyline, its up there in case you didn't read it. Under RainGod's MK6 lineup ideas. Most of the people I've seen talking about returning characters have included alot of those classic characters, so I'm just not sure who you were referring to in your post.

The only ninja's I left alone were Reptile & Mileena. Forgot about JC. But Baraka is still in there too! I didn't mention Shang Tsung nor Shao Kahn...but that is all beside the point.

I was having a go at all the people that continuously complain about the special forces and how they are sick of them! And that the SF should disappear.
I was merely stating that SF has been there since the start and a big part of the storyline for the earth warriors, so it must stay.

I am not a big fan of having 4 SF characters in the game, and would be a good idea to have them captured (Like Sonya in MK2, with Jax coming in for a rescue attempt). Maybe someone even being killed off, but I don't want to see a character introduced for revenge of a death of one of the SF fighters.

I totally agree that MK6 should not have alot of new characters. There are still so many characters from all the previous games that can be in the next installment that they should resurrect some of them first.

I agree with u AussieNinja. Im not a BIG FAN of the SF, but they HAVE to come back, and if it must end, just live one or two. Sonya MUST be back. Shes the head of the team. Shes most original in it for being the only woman leading a man group.

Bt I dont agree on something, putting them captured like in Mk2!!!! I hate that! I wanted to play with sonya in Mk2,if she was playeble in Mk2, I would had liked the game better.

So yeah, live Sonya and Cyrax in that case. take Jax. Make Kenshi another thing and blablabla.

But DONT get rid of Sonya, shes the head.

HAHAHA 2 bad jax and her got slaughtered by mavados hook thingys... yea like your gonna have them resurected... that would be totally stupid!!! Now it's up to cyrax cause he's gonna have to get members or something. I think he'll bring smoke and sektor to SF!!

OMg, I never read anything about Jax and Sonya getting kill by Mavado in the game. Probably U confused that with the rummors at the mK.Revolution page that says thats how they might die. BTW, I also want Cyrax back, but he isnt that important and he is not cualified to be the main guy of the team. Hes just part of it, following orders, not giving them.

Don't mind him queve, I think he's a bit on the stupid side... Anyway, i don't think the Special Forces' storyline is that dry. It still has potential, I still say get Sonya kidnapped, not killed though.

In the movie wasn't jax supposed to be killed but he wasn't he was found getting his arms done?! :) So maybe sonya is getting metal legs!!! Jk...Anyway yea no doubt they will be back. Go cyrax he's cool!! HOpe sonya and jax are back...

I like the Idea of Sonya getting Kidnapped, like in Mk2, the only problem there could be, have Sonya not playable in mK6! I would totally hate that! If she could be hidden or something, probably. BUt I woudlent like her not to be playable.

Thats why I kinda dont like Mk2. Is sure better then Mk1, but with out Sonya (for me) is not a real Mk game.

LOL about the metal legs, wish I hope not! And also, i would like to see Sektor (not smoke) back, maybe he and Cyrax (and Sub) will have stuff to deal with. It would make the story much more interesting.

I personally like Cyrax the best, then Sektor, and last, Smoke.

First of all, Scorpion was NEVER in the Lin Kuei. Second of all, Sonya and Jax were NEVER killed by Mavado in any of the MK:DA endings. And of course, I'm not a huge fan of the Special Forces. Sonya really needs an evolution in her storyline with surprises and twists. Kenshi should leave the SF to find and kill Mavado. Jax should be defeated, not killed by a certain enemy, maybe Baraka or something because Jax should learn how to use his inner strengths rather than relying on his bionic arms. (This could be more of a spiritual thing for MK) Cyrax and Sektor should fight each other to the death. And I wouldn't quite say that the Special Forces make up the most important part of the MK storyline. The most important part of the MK storyline would revolve around the main heroes (Kung Lao, Raiden, etc.) dealing with the main threat (The Dragon King).

I agree with all that. Exept with one thing, its true the SForces isnt the MPST IMPORTANTA PART of Mk, but its sure ONE of the most important parts.

And also, I believe, the MAIN heroes in Mk are just Liu Kang (dead), Sonya, Cage, and Rayden since Mk1, they were the good guys. Then other main heroes came in, Jax, Kitana, Cyrax, Sub-Zero (2) and the most important, Kung Lao.

Has anybody notice that almost all characters in Mk have their own clan or something similar? Like, Liu, Kai, Kung lao, and probably Bo Rai Cho, are the "White Lotus society" thing. Sonya, Jax, Kenshi, Cyrax, represent "The SF", Kano Jarek, Kabal represent the "Black Dragoin, Mavado and Hsu Hau the "Red Dragon", Quan Chi, Noob, Shinok, Reiko and others are "The brothers p the shadow" thing, Kitana, Mileena, jade, Sindel, Tanya are all "Edenias" group. I could keep going but its way to much already.

scorpion is not lin kuei, sektor was defeated by sub-zero in the fight for the dragon amulet(read sub's alt. costume bio in the krypt) sonya and jax never died, most endings are what ifs(such as raiden destroying the world in his mk1 ending because he invited other gods to compete) the only lin keui was smoke, sub, sektor, and cyrax. Brothers of the shadow are pretty much gone and so are the black dragon. It's the red dragon thats around now. Sheeva and motaro are dead, sheeva killed motaro and kano tricked sheeva and got her killed by kahn. Ermac was freed by kenshi so that explains him. No offense to anybody but nobody ever bothers to read bio's and info screens anymore.

the Red Dragon(or Black Dragon, i cant tell the difference)destroys the special forces and then the group expands. they grow too large to manage and control and the group splits into 2 or 3 parts(like a civil war)

Jax or Sonya wood survive, but not both of em. then one of em wood seek revenge and stuff.

a storyline like that would be something different and challenging.

Cause kabal USED to be a a member of the Black Dragon Clan, he was betrayed and he joined forces with the chosen ones, making him, a chosen one.

Related to SF are: Sonya, Jax, Kenshi and Cyrax (as the SF team), Kano, Jarek and Kabal (as the BD clac), Mavado and Hsu Hao (as the RD clan). I dont think I missed any other one.
