Superman does have speed along with his brute strength, agility, flying, etc... Keep in mind, though, that this whole "cataclysm" of magic will not only affect Superman's weakness, but also his strength and abilities. Now not only will he be able to get hurt, but he can't have that super strength, speed, and agility he posses over the non-magical. It's their solution to overpowering...

Funny i have not seen any gameplay of captin marvel yet.

Maybe they just want to balance the game and not make Flash redundant.

actually Flash is faster than Supes but that's kind of irrelevant to the point...

They don't look that slow but they could be sped up some. They are a bit slow compared to other fighters.
