There has been a lot of speculation on wether Shang, Raiden, and Quan have merged together. From viewing the Intro I believe Raiden tried to destroy as much as he could before he teleported himself and the other two to safety. As for why he has black clothes in a few screens is possibly because Shang and Quans powers may have been transferd to Raiden during the teleport!!Anybody have a different opinion on what may have happened?

on topic: I think Raiden prolly left shang and Quan to die. he's got Many allies: Shujinko, Smoke (and maybe Noob?), the new "anti-hero' Scorpion, Lui,(Kabal?) and alot of others.
