There's already another thread for this. But anyway when I first heard of this I was in complete shock. (I'm waiting for the Gamecube version so I'm just reading all the spoilers) I've never been a fan of Noob, just because I've always thought of him as a joke chracter, due to his name. But with this new story twist, it's fantastic. Noob's cool points had already gone up a few notches on account of his badass looking render and now with being the original Subby his climb many ranks on my favorite chracter list. Im so shocked to discover that the Mk1 Sub-Zero is actually still alive! It’s amazing since I always liked him better then the current Sub, but WHY is he Noob?

Sub-Zero the 5th isn't actually still alive, he's a demon from the Netherealm. He's as dead as doornails, but he's taken a new form to return, probably looking for revenge. I am curious as to why Noob Saibot isn't hunting Scorpion, and instead decideds to kill Sub-Zero the 6th. Maybe it has something to do with the Dragon Medallion, or Sub-Zero destroying his old clan/taking his rank?
Someone else predicted this a while back on the old boards, and I take my hat off to them. Noob Saibot's story has just gotten a lot more interesting, IMO, and I don't think he will kill Sub-Zero in this game, Noob Orez-Bus will probably return being hunted by Ashrah, and with the goal of destroying all that oppose his new clan. It seems they've redone Sektor's MK:TE storyline with the Tekunin, and given it to Saibot. Interesting ot say the least. I hope Sektor returns, however. I could see an endurance match being lead by either guy in Arcade Mode in MK7.
