He said he was going to take paper and a pen to write down the answers to the questions he is going to ask the guy.

Okay guys, I'm back. I read the PM's ya'll sent me, and I read what happened in the other topic, and I talked with my friend at the mall. I asked him if this was 100% true info, and he replied with some of the stuff he told me he got from current rumors going around the gaming community, and others were things he recieved from his sources. So, with that in mind, I am typing up his answers right now.

-Super Unlockables will have a storyline. They will have fatalities, but nothing else is known about them. Midway and people who work on the MK team are making sure nothing big gets out, so that these secrets stay secret.
-He said there is a big rumor going around in which Mileena, while acting as Kitana, might gain the upper hand and win in a battle against someone Kitana knows, and could kill them.
-Liu Kang will fight as a spirit and try to gain control of his zombie-like body, but the real deception is that the side you think will win, won't.
-His source claims that Kira will fight Kabal for control over the Black Dragon, and one of them won't survive.
-Tanya's role in Deception will be around helping to get rid of Queen Sindel and her counterparts so Edenia will be under the Dragon King's control. She will also aid the Dragon King in gaining ancient spells from Edenia to help the Dragon King's ultimate plan succeed.
-Keys for regular unlockables will be fairly easy to find.
-Kitana, no word on if she will be playable.......YET. The info he has found out is that Kitana will hold a fairly large roll in Deception. Possibly her biggest role ever in a Mortal Kombat game.
-Another very STRONG rumor going around is that one of the ultimate deceptions in the game will be a fued between two friends. Smoke is rumored to betray Sub-Zero in a very large way. Smoke follows Sub-Zero and the blind guy Kenshi, thinking he can catch them by surprise.
-Quan Chi is very much alive.
-Ermac will free Kitana from her curse, and Kitana will most likely decieve the Dragon King. Ermac will also aid Liu Kang with his objective.
-Mileena will turn against the Dragon King, in hopes of taking Edenia all for herself. Herself and Baraka might become enemies, and another greedy Edenian will surely fight her for Edenia.
-Scorpion IS on the good side this time.

OK it's all interesting stuff. I will reply to these parts assuming there is a basis of truth.
The big secrets re super unlockables does ring true. Either that or there are none!
I'll stick with my Shang Tsung morphed into Liu Kang theory and see where it goes in the end.
Kira looks as though her days are numbered (either her or Sonya would have had to change if and when they were together in 1 game, eg MK7)

I really hope the Kabal/Kira thing won't be cliche.

Sorry, but this directly contradicts Ashrah's leaked ending. But I do agree that this "shadowy figure" following them is most likely Smoke. They probably want you to think Smoke is out for vengeance due to the fact his best friend left him for dead. But in reality, Smoke is keeping their guard from another force.
Anyone remember that urban legend about a girl who was being tailgated by a trucker in the middle of the night? She was frightened because he kept flashing his beamers and rumbling his engine, but it turns out there was a guy in her back seat trying to kill her, and every time he raised his head to make his move, the trucker flashed his beamers and he would cower into the back seat again.
A cheesey analogy, I know. But I think it would make sense if Smoke was a guardian angel figure of some sort(I'm pretty sure he's undead).

Here's something to remember though Temp. Sub-Zero and Smoke were best friends when Sub-Zero was an assassin. Just because Sub-Zero turned good, doesn't mean Smoke did.
Although not flat out evil, the Lin Kuei was not a band of merry men. I don't think we should necessarily project all of Sub-Zero's personality traits onto Smoke.

Heh, nah. I can't remember the exact ending, but she eventually confronts the trucker and he explains what happened.
And I most definitely see what you're saying. Before, I was extremely concerned about Smoke's alignment because we never really knew which path he took during and after MK3.
But I'm basing my case off Ashrah's ending, which says...
