If you look at the trailer closely, you can clearly see that both Quan and Tsung disapear with Raiden just before the blast, he teleport's himself and the Deadly Alliance out with him.

Yeah, the Deadly Alliance should be alive. Raiden was the God of Thunder but he was not immortal, he relinquished his Elder God status at the beginning of the Deadly Alliance game, remeber? Besides he got his ass handed to him by both Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. So if Raiden survived the blast than the Deadly Alliance should have survived too.
