I was wondering: For characters from previous games that weren't in MKDA but you hope or expect to be in Mk6, what fighting styles/weapons do you think they should get? Also, do you think any MKDA/MKTE characters should be given different styles if they return in MK6
If Baraka's back, he should have a original style like Drahmin has. One called Nomatic or something like that.

Peace.

I think the ones who return from MKDA should sep 1 of their best the hand-to-hand fighting style. For example, Sonya keeps Tae Kwon Do, and has 1 new style (or 2) and one new weapon style.

It would be better if the returning ones kept their MKDA styles (the 3 of them) and in the Krpyt (if its back), you can unlock 3 other new ones.

instead of Hung gar, reptile should have monkey kung fu. he's the only character that suits the style in my opinion

If Smoke returns(gees I've talked a lot about that guy today), I think he should fight very similiar to Subzero.

They were both raised and trained in the Lin Kuei, and since they were close friends, odds are that they spared together. Just my thoughts.

How does monkey kung fu fit Reptile? Also I think Hung Gar fits him a lot better than Crab. I know Crab is a powerful style, but it's one of the stupidest looking styles in the game.

as long the styles are true to the characters nature, i wont mind which ones are given to them.

Kano having two internal styles like Xing-yi and Aikido?
He'd have to practise in the arts for years to be good at them, and disciplined he is not

When I made this thread I was really more interested in what styles you guys think characters from previous games, but NOT MKDA, should use. That also includes MKTE characters, since they were just given styles from other characters.

I think that if Baraka is in MK6 (and he should be since there is a lot of fan request for him in MK6), one of his fighting styles should be "Monkey Fist", I could see him using this style so perfectly. The style would suit his kind of hunchback figure. As for his weapon style, he shouldn't have an extra weapon like a sword or whatever, he should just use his own blades, fully extracted. I don't know what they can call his style, maybe "Steel Blades" or something. That would be sweet.

I know what you mean and I agree.

For example, Scorpion should have Ninjitsu and Kano should have something like Streetfighting.

I think some character's styles suit some of the characters like Sonya.
