so now that we have seen their specials and them fighting in action, whom do u think will be better gameplay wise? To tell you the truth Im not to sure but heres what I think.
Sub Zero- Shotokan- decent fighting stance with decent power and good amount of combos. However, it sort of sufferes due to being kind of slow and no good mid attack pop up moves.
Kori Blade- Great powerhouse weapon with nice knockdown moves. Very powerful and great stance in my opinion.
Specials: Ice ball- slow but with the air kombat, may come in handy and nice to shoot out after dodging your enemies progectile.
Ice clone- great move, and when timed right, can really piss off your opponent lol. Great to hide behind and plan your next move.
Ice charge- Fast with decent recovery. Great for knocking opponent away to give yourself room and great move to use to catch your opponent off guard.
Ice sculpture- Sub zero's new move. Comes out very fast and I think is slow on recovery. However, it comes out very fast and looks to be a great move to do right after an ice clone.
Overall sub zero looks to be a great choice. with the kori blade for power and the ice clone and ice sculpture, opponents will always have to be on the move and think in order to be able to attack subby.
Frost- Forget the name of the hth fighting style, but from what I hear its decent. Has a few mid hits and decent combos. Looks to be just as good as shotokan or even better.
Daggers- Very fast weapons and very good on recovery. No where near as strong as kori blade but very fast with more combos.
Specials- Ice freeze- Correct me if Im wrong but it now hits full screen and you must crouch and block in order to not be frozen. Overall move is faster than subbys ice ball and a better move overall even if the recovery is a little worse.
Ice puddle- Fast recovery and is just like bo rai cho's puke move. Looks to be her best move.
Ice slide- Again correct me if wrong, but the move looks like you have to duck and block in order for the attack to not hit. Looks fast and great for catching opponent sleeping.
Ice teleport punch- Looks fast, but like any teleport, if blocked your in trouble.
So overall I guess if I had to choose whos better, I would go with...........sub zero. His kori blade is just really really strong and great to use. Also, I think his special moves are just a bit more powerful, mainly his ice clone and ice sculpture. Hbu guys. What do you think about these characters.

I love Sub-Zero , is styles are great , personally I would of picked Shotokan and Dragon instead of the kori blade , but meh..I can live past that....lol

Honestly from what the videos have shown Frost looks to be a little better. That ice puddle and ground freeze will confuse the hell out of opponents. Her styles look good. Then again Sub zero looks to have gotten a MAJOR upgrade from deception. His ice clone looks like it can be done up close, charge move looks a lot faster and has a longer range, the ice pillar looks decent. I dont know but right now they both look to be really good characters.

yea definitly. Forst looks great this time around and if her slide hits low and her freez move does too then it will be great. If sub zero's clone can do that it will be good too.

Both are looking great, but you missed one of sub-zero's new move, I don't think that is the ice clone being done up close, the animation looks like he is freezing his oppenent upon touching them. Sub Zero can freeze ya in alot of ways now. I'd have to go with sub for who is looking better.

Has anyone noticed Frost has two different types of ice puddels one like the traditional Subby one and a new one that keeps going in a straight line.

She only has a new one. The ice puddle that Sub used to have. The other one is her freeze move from DA.

I can see this being very tricky to determain which one is which same goes with with her slide and teleport, so I think Frost will be a trick type character.

Frost has horrible stances, but her specials alone look very dominating.
On the flipside, can't go wrong with the Ice Clone.
I think Sub-Zero will be better.

I hate Frost's stance, but I loved her Ice Daggers. Her specials also look quite quick, which is what I'm all about.
Sub-Zero has Shotokan instead of Dragon, which sucks because the latter was the better style in my opinion. His weapon and special moves are also slow, but more powerful.
I'm very well divided on this matter as they are both lacking certain traits, but I'm all about quick gameplay, so I think Frost will take the win.

I think you messed up his last move- SubZero's that is. I dunno what its called, but its basically the Ice Shower but rather than falling from the sky it rises from below the opponent. ice Geyser?

Im not really into ninja's or sub-zero. All i will say is that his moves in MKA look f'n nasty.
He's gonna be a monster.

Frost is wayyyyyyy better now. Her Tong Bei style suits her nicely... sad to see Yuan Yang gone! Her Ice Daggers were my fav weapons in DA and they still rock in MKA.
Her new powers now make her a more deceptive character as opponents will be tricked as to which of the two freeze moves she would execute; Ground Freeze or Ice Puddle. Plus the fact that she has that Teleport Uppercut adds to the surprise factor as well.
No doubt both characters are good, but due to her new powers and trickstyle attacks, I'd go with Frost.

its close but sub is better just because of a slight power advantage. Her freeze move is like a ice wave that gets closer and closer then it freezes you. fast but people can avoid it easy. and if subs geyser is anything like scorpions which is unblockable then its a no contest in favor of subzero.

Sub's ice ball also has to get closer and closer, and that "geyser" move is blockable.

I think Scorpion's hellfire move is blockable. Frost's moves are blockable too. Except that puddle probably. That can be avoided though. Sub-Zero's new move is like Scorpion's Hellfire. That move is very effective when used right and since Sub-Zero's version freeze's the opponent ,it will be even better. If his ice clone isn't dumb down like it was in MKD then this a no contest. Even if the ice clone is still dumb down his new move, like I mention already, can be very effective when used right. Sub-Zero FTW!
