What EXACTLY Mag?

That sounds kind of boring hopefully there is more to it than that.The hari kiri should be more like a fatality, by that I mean they should do alot of damage to the character and be very bloody and gruesome.
His hari kiri should have spikes of ice stab through him from the inside and by the end his body is rattled with frozen spikes and blood.

That's the worst idea if it's true. A guy who has no heat in him,freezing himself when he's already Sub Zero degrees,man I'll laugh for the entire day.
How about he just make a Kori_Blade and cut his throat!

I'm not too surprised about this hara-kiri. I had a feeling that his would be some version of the Double Ice Backfire. I think it suits him well.

and btw... they just plainly describe it... they didn't really go into detail... so its probley more grewsome then we think.. we knew of brakas hari kari before.. but we didn't knew it would turn out like what we seen... so its probley gonna be alot cooler(no pun intended..)

Personally, I think it suits Sub-Zero. I don't know where people got the idea that the "Hari Karis" are going to be just as long and complex as the Fatalities. We've seen two and heard about a third now and they're all short and to the point. I realize that's somewhat short of a viable comparison, but I doubt any of the rest will be any more involved.

And yes, it looks like the development team is going with Hari Kari rather than Hara Kiri. We shouldn't be surprised, given their frequent butchering of real life words.

I think that all though they might be short, I think they have the potential to be more gruesome than the fatalities. Mostly because, since they don't take a lot of time, the team can focus on detail.

Yeah, dunno what people were expecting, but if i were going to kill myself, i wouldn't want to draw it out and make it all gruesome just for other people to watch.
Why would Sub Zero want to take his kori-blade, hack his limbs off, then headbutt the ground till he knocks himself unconscious and drowns in his own blood?
Besides, logically, if it took more than a few seconds for the character to go through the motions of killing themselves, the opponent would already be trying to kill the victim by his own means anyway (i realise this isn't how it works in game, but thinking from a 'realistic' point of veiw..).

the idea of hari kari's being in this game makes me sick. so far, it is the only thing i am disappointed with. (i think the clown fish will be edited) EVERYTHING else seems to be revamped nicely. mk warriors shouldn't commit suicide. thats dumb imo. now when i double flawless people they can escape me ripping out their heart... grrrr!

You're right, the correct word is Hara-Kiri. I think even the MK Team calls it Hari-Kari or Hari-Kiri.

well for sub I think the proper hari kari would be for him to spine rip himself ;)

Sub-Zero could grab his arm, freeze it, then throw it to the floor shattering it. Then grab one of his legs, freeze it, then throw it to the floor. And since he can't grab anything else (can't grab his own grabbing arm, if he grabs his leg he'll fall) he grabs his own head and freezes it then falls backwards shattering his head.

Agreed. It makes more sense for them to be quick and painless for the most part. I know if I was going to kill myself because I lost, it would be quick and painless.

Dunno why anyone thought that the person would kill himself slow so others can watch.

I'm glad to hear about Sub-Zeros Hari-Kiri. To be honest, i had a great feeling that it was going to be that. I've always imagined it being that, pretty awesome. Can't wait to see it.

P.S. - Even though the name is "Hari-Kiri", i like "Hari-Kari" alot better. IMO it sounds way more cooler than Hari-Kiri. I can picture the announcer saying it that way, and not only would it sound cooler, but it would also rhyme.....making it sound better IMO.

I on the other hand, think it makes perfect sense for it to be a one attempt kill. There is no reason why the person would make his death painful, prolonged and what not.
