Hey guys... just a thought. I was watching the fatality videos and I noticed something. I don't think the fatality where Sub-Zero freezes his opponent is his famous Spine Rip. All this time I thought that that thing hanging from Kenshi's head after Subby ripped it off was Kenshi's spine. However, you'll notice that it's actually just the long part of his blindfold that hangs from the back of his head. I didn't see a spine or anything. I'm thinking we have yet to see Sub-Zero's spine rip fatality. If you recall from an interview with Ed Boon (which was published in "Play"), Ed describes Sub-Zero's spine rip fatality as this: "I definitely play as Scorpion the most and my favorite fatality in the whole game is probably Sub Zero's spine rip from the first game. That was inspired by Predator." Now, if you have ever seen the Predator movies, the Predator tears out the victim's spine starting from the small of the back and rips out the spine from bottom to top. Imagine Sub-Zero's Skeleton Pull from MK:DA but instead of ripping out the entire skeleton, he rips out the spine and the head comes off with it. I can only imagine Sub-Zero slamming his opponent down on the ground (or freezing them after they're down) and walking over to them and putting his foot on the opponent's butt and reaching down and ramming his hand into the base of the victim's back (the victim could squirm and writhe in pain at this point... of course if unfrozen) and Sub-Zero proceeds to slowly rip the spine out from the bottom until it comes completely out with the head dangling on the end. He could either rip it out quickly or he could do it slowly and seem to have trouble getting out so he has to give it a few tugs as the spine rips out until he succeeds. What are your thoughts?
