Kano wasn't in the black dragon in deception. Kabal took over.
So there were only 3...

PLUS there are a handful of clan members whose names don't begin with K (think Special Forces)

Sounds like youve been thinking way too much about it.
Most "IMPORTANT" members of the Black Dragon have a K in their name (Kano, Kira, Kabal, Kobra, even JareK who has one at the end). Maybe its a rank thing. Others like Tasia, No Face, Tremor, and Quinn seem pretty low level.
