LOL, that's exactly what I thought. I think his regular costume is great, i'm not a big fan of his alt, though.

I thought the exact same thing. As long as he looks like a ninja I am happy. I always thought he looked retarded without his mask/hat look. He has also always been a favorite of mine. hsi head rip fatality from the original MK is what got me hooked on the MK series in general, and the fact that Scorp now has it is just plain wrong!

I think they went a tad extreme on re-modeling Subby. Just change a few things, like they did with Scorp. Scorp's recent incarnations are much better than his classic costumes. Sub-Zero was too plain in DA, but now he's too involved in his costume. Why cant we ever have a happy medium.

His first costume is cool, but the second one, I don't like. I like the one from MKDA, to me it looked better.

although his costume is OK... his alternate just blows... i mean come on... in MK3 he has black hair and normal skin, but now he has white hair and extremly white skin. i dont like it. MAKE HIM MORE LIKE SCORPION DOES NEXT TIME! thx ed boon... you are thee man

No there trying to keep Sub-Zero from looking like Scorpion, im glad they went with the new look for sub, he's first alternate pretty much kick ass and he's second is ok..

i think his first 1 is alrite.... but i like his second i think it's 1 of the best in the game.

Didn't like either costume. Losing the dry ice effect from MK:DA was a
big mistake. Don't even get me started on the alternate, in a word: Weak!
I would have been much happier with a palet swap of Scorpions alt..

I like his shredder look alot! His armor just makes him look tough as hell.
His alt on the other hand i cant stand. Theres a pic in production art of his alt that kinda looks like it is now, but better somehow. Woulda liked it if it looked that way.
Cant please everyone i guess. His alt in Da was awesome i admit, but its nice to see something new.

I actually prefer the alt costume, and both are better than DA. Subzero has stayed basically the same throughout the games, basically switching from ninja costume to unmasked. The alt costume is a very original approach, and I think is one of the best in the game.
If they could have combined these outfits w/ the dryice look, it would have been perfect.

Both looks are cool.
Shred-Zero is just badass, almost as cool as Scorp in DA.
Bald-Zero is an adjustment to say the least, but after getting used to it, it's one of my favorite alts.

I can't stand the alt costume! The reg one is ok.

I know what you mean, when I saw Scorpion with SubZero's signature fatality, I was pretty pissed. You don't see SubZero throwing a spear at people saying "GET OVER HERE" do you?

Cage was on the arcade side for MK1. So...... he can. Oh, you didn't mean that? Too bad you didn't specify, then..... Oh, and read the storylines. Vogel reveresed Cage's death in DA, saying it never happened in Cage's story. Why is it so many MK fans don't even know the storyline of their franchise?

That's good, that cleared up some confusion for me. I know his armor started "speaking to him" and made his blows stronger, but I thought he just ended up taking more of them out before he died. I'm glad he didn't.

I know the story line pretty well. I just don't bother remembering the stuff dealing with Cage. But on another note, I just joined the forum, and I don't want to start off on a bad note. Looking back on my first entry, it came off as kind of attacking. If it sounded rude or nasty, my apologies. Forums aren't meant for fighting all the time and I didn't want to start off doing just that.

Because no one really cares about the story line until someone mentions it. "And added on to the great fighting, fatalities, yadda yadda yadda. there's uhh... a great storyline! Yeah, right everyone? A great storyline!"

The story is alright. The only thing I don't like about it is how everyone's ending is totally different. I understand the importance of that, though, to an extent; but, whose ending do they choose as the main one to continue the game? I mean choosing one is practically totally eliminating the endings of the others.

I liked the ninja look with the dry ice hands subby had in mkda...the armor he's wearing now kinda looks like he found it and then spine ripped some eskimo and stiched some of his seal skin and polar bear fur to it......the other thing I'm trying to figure out is how come he looks like a decrepid old man in da while everyone else is still in their prime, but in deception he's got his youth again . Has he been taking lessons from Shang Tsung?
