I think the ponytail is an extremely retarded look for SUB-ZERO.

Maybe he starting to worry about his hair. He might want to make sure he has enough hair for a fold-over.

i like it because it is different and interesting and if it isnt the younger Sub-Zero than it is my Second Hero The Original Sub-Zero(1. Ryu Hayabusa could u have guessed )

Well, Sub-Zero can essentially make his hair grow at an accelerated rate with his ice-growing abilities.

Its a different Sub-Zero.

He looks alot younger than the Sub-Zero in MKDA.

He doesnt have the Scar.

Sub-Zero was pretty old in MKDA and we dont know how many years have past between MKDA and Deception.

My Guess is that the original Sub-Zero from MK1 and 2 is dead and the Sub-Zero with the scar is either dead or is maintaining his role as the head of the clan and sent this new Sub-Zero to fight in the tournement.

Or the Scar Sub-Zero could of been killed in kombat and this New Sub-Zero could be out for revenge.

But I think its a new Sub-Zero.

Because if the original Sub-Zero is alive he would be older than the scar Sub-Zero and from the pics this Sub-Zero with the pony tail looks pretty young.

Id say it's either Sub-zero (5th), and has some how come back from the dead... OR, It's sub-zero (6th), with just a new style.

I actually thought about it, and now i dont really mind his bald look. I like his shredder look so much that i just dont even hate the bald look anymore.

Look at the pic with the Scar Sub-Zero with the Ninja-Mask on and look at the PSM cover of the new Sub-Zero and you can see a big difference in age.

But who knows you may be right about the 5th and 6th Sub-Zero.

oh dear..where to start.

well first of all, there are no 5th and 6th sub-zeros. just the 1 and 2.
subby number 1-mkm-mk1(not mk2)
subby number 2-mk2(no scar yet)-mkda(most likely 6)

second of all, the scar can be added later. for instance, mkda koncept art..no scar..mkda sub..has scar.

third, the DM has been confirmed to be the reason subby is aging faster..which explains why he is older in mk6(not younger like someone mentioned..i dont know where u got that from).

so if he's aging faster..then he must be losing his hair faster. but in return he gets more kori powers and greater strength.

fourth, subby's new look(both the alt and the regular costume) look badass. i will be playing his alt more often cause it looks cool and not as bulky.

i dunno..i love the shredder look..it just looks weird in the pics..hopefully it looks cooler when we see some fight vids.

Your reading WAAAAY to deep into why he is bauld with a pony tail... Some of these observations are just so ludacris, like, maybe the medallion aged him and sicne he was losing his hair he decided to shave it...

How about this for a suggestion as to why he looks like he does... Maybe Boon wanted just wanted to give him the classic old school martail arts look, the one where their whole head is shaved except for a pony tale?? WOW, imagine that, Subbys a ninja, and he has an old school kung fu style haircut, it blows your mind... No that CANT possibly be the reason he looks like this now...

You guys are probably right, this is Sub-Zero number 57 who is the 3rd cousins dad who married into the Sub-Zero family after knocking Frost up and he has an inferiorty complex with people judging him cause of his receeding hairline, so after talking to Frosts sisters baby's dad (who is Sub-Zero #43) he decided to shave his head so other warriors in the tournament wont make fun of him anymore...

From what I've seen, Sub Zero's ponytail look is pretty STUPID.

Maybe I'd have to see the whole costume in motion for the positive effect. However, so far, so bad. I do not support his new look.

I think it takes away sub zero's mystery and they should change it, not all fans accept what is thrown at them. The shredder look will always be referred to as the shredder look. They should re-think sub zero or they could not change it at all mkda was the best both looks. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I can compromise with the best of them but I'm not the only one here who thinks it is the lamest look ever for the "once" coolest charcter in video game history.

I posted this somewhere else but I can't remember where. This is just a thought I had awhile back about Sub-Zero. Maybe the dragon medallion is giving him "God like powers"..going back to post made a while ago about having elemtal gods eg: Lightning, Fire, Warer etc. Maybe Sub-Zero is becoming an Ice-God and by defeating the Dk that will complete him.

I perfer his Shredder outfit to the bald on, but the bald on is fine by me. And as for the different Sub-Zero's I got confused when I found out there was two so I am just going to say this is the same Sub from Deadly Alliance, and he had plastic surgery to get his scar fixed up...ok that part was a joke but the rest is all serious my friends.

I'm not too sure about this look. My first impressions are that I don't like it. I think Sub being bald and having a ponytail just looks plain silly! But, it could work. His shredder look owns!

The look may grow on me eventually! After all, this is a just an instant opinion and I haven't seen the proper version and full detail of the outfit.
