Subzero & Dairou, is there a link?

Both of Subzero's new looks are similar to Dairou's concept art in MKDA.
There's the bald head with long ponytail, and there's a similar helmet, only without the face-covering...

Do you reckon it could mean something? Or it's just nothing?

Yea i can see the pony tail resemblance but the helmet looks nothing like Sub Zero's.
Sub Zero's helmet is more like shredder while that is a traditional samurai helmet
It's probably just similar because their both Asian ,alot of Asian style armor looks similar .Also if you notice ,Baraka's armor looks similar to the saiyan armor in DBZ ,could he secretly be working for Frieza?
