It would be really nyce if it could charge like it did in the first mk1 movie...and the bigger it get the more damage and much more freezing time you have on your opponent.

You could say this about all other energy-based projectiles, too - the longer they are charged, the more damage they do. Question - how would this be accomplished? Hold down the button and release to fire the projectile? Ex. For Sub-Zero, motion d,df,f then press and hold 1?

Good idea. Someone posted this idea before. It would be great on all projectiles. It should be optional however and shouldn't decrease the nmormal amount of damage from an uncharged projectile.

Maybe they can do it like Sakura's firebal in SF Alpha 2 & 3, where you do the fireball motion and tap the button 2-3 times to increase the size and strength of the projectile.

Then make it hidden until it is released or something. I agree with the idea, anything to make Sub more powerful is OK by me.

do you guys want this to be mk deception or king of fighters? jesus charging projectiles wouldnt work in 3d cuz they could just dodge with the z-axis. thats y the 3d kof game is gonna suck too

Considering how charging projectiles worked quite well in SSBM, I'm not really sure what you mean.

I agree. I think all energy based projectiles should have a charging option. For example...
Sub Zero - If Subby charges his ice ball, the ice blast should be bigger and keep the opponent frozen for a longer.
Ermac - If he charges his green blast thingy, It should be larger and brighter. It should cause more damage.
...This option ahould also be implemented with Kai's verticle fireball, Quan Chi's skull projectile, Jax's ground smash, Bo Rai Cho's ground stomp, Li Mei's sparkler, Liu Kang's fireball, ect.

Something similiar to Ryu's Denji-Hadouken in Street Fighter III: Third Strike where you hold down the button to charge the projectile.

The best mechanic I think to fit with a charging projectile is not damage, but track the enemy. Say if you charge Sub-Zero's iceball, it can no longer be sidestepped, but must be blocked.

Yes, this would be a great idea, brings back some memories from the movie and other games,
If SubZero does get this chargeable iceball, then i think that by charging it up in different amounts results in different moves, for charging it up for a little amount of time, it looks normal, and as for charging it up a while longer, it appears to be an icicle spiked iceball that could be used to bounce towards your opponent on the ground, but as evey thing has a great advantage, it should have it's disadvantages, for example, this move shouldn't be able to be chargeable forever, for if you do, subzero will quickly feel pain and stop himself from freezing for a short while, thus your freezing abilities will be lost for a while as a consequence. Also, just after your charging up fades away, subzero will eventually feel pain and become vulnerable to an open attack because the animation will have kicked in showing him struggle to charge up his iceball to the extreme max, or should i say minimum, cause it's cold, so You should watch out any time you would consider such a move.

I think Boon has considered this manuever in the past. Examples being the Fatalities from MKII (deep freeze) and from the movie. The only difficult part is implementing it into the game. The fighting in Deception seems to be a lot faster than DA, and the only way this move can be successful is projecting from a far screen. Charging it could also mean it moves much faster across screen too, for harder dodging.
