Ummm, there never was a Hydro in the games, only in the comics. The comics don't follow the game, which probably means it isn't Hydro, which I don't want anyways. We have enough damn ninjas already. Why make more when they could bring back the old ones like Rain and Ermac?

I also thought of Hydro when I fist saw him. It COULD be him, but I think its Sub.

Its definitely Sub-Zero. AS already pointed out, the movies/comics/cartoons do NOT follow the same plot as the game, hence there is no Hydro in the games, period.

If its sub-zero then it's an evil sub-zero. But it looks as if that sub-zero is much smaller, paler...maybe the dragon medallion made hime more dead but yet is keeping him alive. I don't think its sub, but someone from the lin kuei.

it could be eather! first of all that ice shot in the trailer could def. have been a water shot like hydro would have done, second of all who are you guys to say they cant bring a character into the games from another mk storyline??? If im not mistaken that one chick was brought into mk tournement or whatever (serena or some spelling) so explain that one eh.

She was from MK:M, which is part of the MK series.
