Subzero's classic heard rip fatality is back in deception...but with a twist!!

i was just reading over at gamespot a hands on impression of the game from E3...it talks alot of new things about the game...but in the end, it talks about some of the over the tops insane fataltiies. check it out:

"Speaking of exploding fighters, Mortal Kombat wouldn't be Mortal Kombat without a series of insanely over-the-top fatalities. Only a handful have been revealed at this time, but they look pretty awesome. The sequence that stuck out the most was one of Sub Zero's fatalities. It starts out as you'd expect--Sub-Zero grabs his victim's head, yanks off his head, and the spine comes along with it. He then jumps back and freezes the still-standing headless body. And in a gruesome finale, Sub-Zero tosses the head at the frozen body, causing it to shatter into an icy, bloody mess. Most impressive. "

Damn..i can't wait to see his fatality. It sounds awesome... subzero's head rip fatality has been my #1 favorite fatality of the mk series...and this new fatality will make it even better..

can't wait for the game!

DAMN! That does sound like an awesome fatality. Iam going over to read that article right now. Its good to see Sub Zero w/a Fatality with Ice again. Hopefully we can see an "update" to Scorpion Skull Flame fatality.

psx2k1 you may want to edit the topic to subzero fatality spoiler..not everyone wants to know the about fatal until they get there hands on the game and it will keep people who dont want to know about it from reading it from the topic and the thread it self. the fatal sounds wicked cant wait to check it out in oct. thanks for the heads up none the less. smile

this is exactly what the forum members of mk5 have been asking for since mkda: and extended fatality. damn man that fatality sounds greats. seems like subby wants too join the yankees or something

yeah sorry about that...didn't mean to spoil anything for anybody. i actually wasn't thinking about that cuz i was pretty excited and wanted to post it...since i also know that I am not the only one who would like to see the return of subzero's classic head rip fatality. but in way, i am not really spoiling anything because it's one thing seeing it, and another reading it on paper...but i guess it's a spoiler...but i see that a lot of people like the news...just as I did!

from now on, i'll remember to specify whether or not it's spoiler

"Currently playable characters include Scorpion, Baraka, Mileena, Sub Zero, Sindel, Bo Rai Cho, Nightwolf, Hotaro, Ermac, Li Mei, Ashrah, and Kenshi. 12 empty character slots remain on the kombat mode's character select screen. Some of these fighters--Jax, for example--have already been revealed."

all the fatalitys need to be long like that. i just wish there was more finishing moves not only fatalitys i like to see animalitys back in the game i know they wherent that great before but they can fix them without the glowing remember cyrax one where the shark comes out thats one of my favs it just looked cool mk needs more finishing moves and less combos like it or not finshing moves is what sells. Im not saying gameplay isnt important but finishing moves have great replay value

Holy good goddamn that sounds kick-ass.

It occurs to me that in almost every other MK game, SZ has a Head-and-spine fatality.

Sounds like a great Fatality and at least since they combined his 2 classic Fatalities into 1, I can only hope his 2nd one is all new.
