This idea has been crossed before, and although it could possibly work, the idea behind it just doesn't seem fair. When MK first came out, fatalities were the shit because not only did they look cool, but it was the ultimate "Ha ha! I kicked your sucky ass!" FU to your opponent. Suicides would be MK, but without the Pwning of your friends. It really takes away from the satisfaction you get, ya know.

Actually no it wouldn't. I mean, as long as they would be just as, if not cooler than a regular fatality, it wouldn't bother me. And as for the "Ha ha, I kicked your ass" that could be rephrased and said like this... "You stupid pussy, you couldn't take a loss like a real man." Lol. I mean, it's not like they could come back with soemthing clever cause they just killed theirself!

lol, that's true. It's just that I have fond memories of my brothers shutting off the console right before they were about to lose. ah, memories.

Suicidalities could be done in the same way a normal Fatality is done.

I mean, on the Finish Him/Her, simple type the code of the Suicidality and that would make the defeated dizzy opponent kill him/herself instead of you killing him with a fatality.

In conclusion, you will make him kill himself.

Meh, it sounds cool, but I dunno...I have a lot of friends who would be complete wusses about it and suicide all the time. Plus, think of the negative media...

lol. If they were worried about negative media, They wouldn't have allowed you to kill your opponent in MK1-MK:DA.

But i think Suicide "might" be a neat idea. The way i see it is... In the seconds it takes to perform the button combination. You'll both be able to do it, But the guy who was defeated will kill themselves instead of actually doing their fatality. But if you're faster (if they even do it) you'll kill them with your fatality

...And they wouldn't have added Friendships or Babalities or less violent fatalities either, eh? Seriously, though, the media already hates MK. I doubt they want to lose more customers because some soccer moms think their kids are gonna go out and telepunch somebody until they kill themselves.

I like this idea. I say that each character should have a long string (much longer than a normal fatality) of directions/buttons that they could pull off. Here's the idea- if you cannot get your fatality off within a limited amount of time, you suck and your victim gets to laugh a bit. If your opponent can get off their longer string suicide, then you might not be truly worthy to beat them with your fatality. I think while this is somewhat unlikely, this is definitely an idea that I would love to see implemented into the game.

Anyone watch the movie Leon: The Professional? Kinda go with the ending of that.

As you're dying from your fatality, you can maybe get in one last hit. Of course it needs to be phyco hard to do, and the time to do it is very short. This could come in handy esp if the winner has very little life.

I dont really think that would work very well. But hey it would be pretty cool.

If anything, The Fatalities in MK2 were more severe then in MK1 and probably just as worst, If not more so in MK3/U3/T as more characters appeared.

Friendships and Baby-alities were there to make soccer moms happy, and to mask things in my opinion. But Animalities were the last straw (brutalities weren't half bad)

i dunno, it sound pretty cool but it would be kinda cheap, they should put some energy shit in there under neath the health bar so like if its only full u could use it to gain a bonus round to help urself out but if u loose that then ur pretty much fucked for the other dude to kill ur ass with a fatality something like smackdown number 5 if u have like 2 smackdown thingys u cant get a special move done to u if u press the right buttons. oh and the button mash thing it would be cool like in the middle of the round if u both like throw the same punch at eachother and have the same like energy u could like grab the guys hands and put him in a position like ur playing mercy and if u win u hear like a big ass crack like u broke the guys wrists and he would like scream and dance around so u could hit his ass more

the only way i see suicides happening is if the victor can make the loser kill themselves by a button combination, so losers wont wuss their way out of a fatality and the winner adds insult by making the other player kill themself. I can see myself saying to a friend "what a idiot, only a f*cker like you could figure out how to kill yourself".

Stupid idea. Anti Fatality is just dumb. Your opponent should not have the ability to alter what you want to do. This is one of those good on paper shitty in real time ideas. Only it's..well...still shitty on paper.

it would be very anoying. by the way if u want that ur opponent dont do a fatality on u just pause the game lots of times.

I find the whole suicide Idea to be stupid, unless the winner chooses whether or not the loser does suicide, because if the loser does a suicide, their cheating the winner out of a well earned bloodletting. That’s why I said, Suicidalities could work LIKE A NORMAL FATALITY. You win, then you type the code, and then YOU make the VICTIM kill himself.

It doesn't have to be like many say, with the player who looses killing himself.

No matter how hard you try to twist it around. No matter how much you try to make it seem cool and such it's not. It's a stupid idea, and unless Midway wants stupid kids killing theirself because Sub-Zero does it they should stay away from shit like this. I would be seriously upset if Midway decided to go along with this, but they won't.

Very interesting idea. But I don't think it would get past the ratings. Would create a huge Controversy and would hurt midway big time. Even though it is a violent game, the Suicide concept would not work. Maybe a reversal or block of some sort.

I think everyone would agree with me on that. Imagine that every Politician,Religious leader, etc would pile up and deem this game immoral.
