i going to tell you some thing funny
me and my friends in dominican republic use to play in the morning mka.
i did not expect them to be good but about 60% of the people that i played are great fighters.
is was like playing a new mka why? maybe because all game are offline with 0% lag (there is not service to play mka online in D.R) or is it
because of the characters that people use?

the most popular characters (characters that people pick the most) are.

DRAHMIN
DAI ( i can t beliave how many dai players there was)
Quan Chi

very few people use sareena she does not look as good offline. is harder for her to keep people away from her offline. her FF1 is very unsafe her 2 in weapon is unsafe as well and her 2,b3 can be parry.

same goes to scorpion since his f-1 can be punish furious furious they kicked my ass about every time i used scorpion furiousfurious

there is more people using kabal, mavado, noob, smoke, tanya, kung lao, sector, subzero, kamaleon( many people use him at hight lavel with big combos).
it was like a new game.

by the way if any one is going on vacation you really want to go to dominican republic. so many hot women looking to have fun and so many places to see. + the food is very very very very very very gooooooodddd grin

f1 scorp is garbage

any move that doesnt track can be punished with sidestepping

watch when the computer fights itself, all it does is sidestep.

throws are also 100% punishable in mka offline ( no lag ) and easily duckable.

drahmin is a joke ( broke )

dai is cool

quan OWNS

and that is all

btw, did you happen to notice the difference while playing as player 1or player 2? player 2 has no priority but moves/recovers faster. player 1 is very restricted.

im guessing whoever was player 2 most of the time won.

i found a hidden jutsu the other day for player 2 only, works only with parry canceling as you recover, ima make a vid for it real soon, but it only works with certain moves offline. moves that you can jump immediatly after. ON BLOCK, you can cancel out the block stun and parry instantly or even jutsu duck using PC. and i found it only seems to work with player 2. should work even better online but not sure about the missing frames

offline >>>>>>> online

there is not many people who have a ps2 in D.R that is why we
use to go to play in clups ( a clup in D.R is a place were people
go to play video games) if you ask me i guess that is why there
is so many good players because people do not have memory
cards and without a memory card you cant use kaks.

check i did not happen to notice the diffence while playing as player
1or 2 but now that you say i did met a few guys that always wanted
to play as player 2.

very cool of you to respond riu, and yes, welcome home

i would definitly be one of those people, however, when i fight, i prefer to be on the left side, just with the controller in the second side

interesting how some people know about this. very nice. i hope you get to play even more people offline. if i could i would play u all day offline

im going to be making offline matches very soon to start working out a real tier list, ive said from day one scorp was midtier. he does have 3 in hapkido, and great lows though, just without a decent weapon, he lacks greatly. his throw is also decent. but moves sluggish on both p1 and p2.

my favorite offline characters are reptile, quan, and hotaru. jinko as well.

i wish everyone could arrange to meet to play in person, that would be great.

later riu. glad you got to see the game for what it really is.

i would like to see that tier list. because there are some characters that are worst off line and some that are better.
