I've been thinking about that one too - but I think it may be that it's going to be a level in the next game, since they must have been working some on Shaolin Monks while Deception was being developed.

If that were the case i could understand but there is always going to be speculation about more SU in DA and D but going through the game itself i could see that level in the game. Just like with a game shark you can play as frost, kung lao, ghost, monster, and Dragon King. Maybe others but i am going to stick with this level being the only super unlockable.

I would want more arenas, hopefully with a death trap in them.
After finding out the Bettle Lair doesn't have one when I got the game, I wouldn't mind a hidden arena with one in it.

In PUZZLE. There is this deathtrap that was NOT USED in Liu kangs tomb.
The final version they had the fire deathtrap, but I had seen in some videos that there was no fire, instead, there was an AMAZING deathtrap fatality of spikes that squished the opponent, had them hanging in the air (high spikes inside the head) and tehn, it came crushing down to the lower spikes.
I wish I knew how to take pics of that video.

It’s a fight between Scorpion and Ermac in LIU KANGS TOMB. But there is NO FIRE. There is a double spiked deathtrap.
Scorpion pushes Ermac to it, then the higher spikes fall down and sink their spikes into his head. Ermac is then hanging, struggling to get free.
Then Ermac falls to the lower spikes, he is impaled, then the higher spikes (that holed Ermac before) come crashing down the lower spikes and make him explode.

I've unlocked all the arenas available and there are two slots still open in the preview area. Does this mean that there can be more than one?
Queve: I saw the video and i think that that was a test phase fatality because the official video show the slaughterhouse deathtrap on all levels in the video so it may have been a test thing you know.

It’s an extremely well done “test” fatality if you ask me.
That Puzzle fatality had too much going on to be just booted of the cast and traded for some boring fire fatality.
I think they will use that puzzle deathtrap for the gamecube. Its too cool!

You know DeadlyFrost, I was just about to say the exact same thing, except for me, I have three slots open. I saw this and immediately thought about the Katakombs. Boon said that there are still a few things left that haven't been figured out yet. I really think that an new unlockable might be that arena. I say everyone go into the Ice Caves and medititate like crazy so see if any chest pops up. Edit: Something else that just occured to me regarding more arenas... what ever happened to the Sludge Pit? I heard talk about it a while ago, and then I just opened up the concept art of it in the Krypt. Who knows...

ok i was just playing the arcade game with tanya vs lui kang and we were in this arena that i never saw b4 it was round and it had two levels the bottom level had a big gold dragon in it but when i went to the versus game and tried to pick it it wasnt there n I havent unlocked all the koffins yet so maybe its an arena you have alll seen already

The mountain arena that has no deathtrap?
Its the pic that shows a level with some fire. It has to grounds. In the lower level, there are 2 golden dragons.

I believe it's called Dragon Mountain. Dragon King's lair where you fight him at the end of the game is located deep inside. I believe that arena from Deadly Alliance that housed his undead army is also located here.
