OK, but isn't kryptonite the ONLY thing that weakens Superman, according to the comics. Plus, magical MK people wouldn't have time to use their magic against him, because he's just so quick. I'm not trying to piss anyone off here, I just think it's a tad goofy. :)

Nope, it's not the only thing that weakens him. Magic also deals him damage. Also, Red Sun takes away his powers and thus weakens him severly. So kryptonite, while it is his main (and better known) weakness, is not the the only means by which he can be weakened/harmed.

since you didn't know he was weak to magic, Ninj, I'm going to pretty much assume that you don't know what you're talking about. Just stop and accept the answer to your question.

If you won't accept his weaknesses as answer, then you should also know that Superman deliberately holds back his power so he doesn't inadvertently kill anybody. Pretty much every DC hero does this if they're too strong.

Though, I must say, just because you have a character that is invincible doesn't mean that he needs to be the almighty powerful great one in the game.

To sum up Superman's vulnerabilities:

Magic

He's not exactly WEAK to magic, he's just vulnerable to it. Basically Magic overrides his invulnerability. Which means that, when hit with something magical in nature, it would be exactly like hitting a regular Kryptonian that hasn't been exposed to yellow sunlight with it. However, Kryptonians have denser body structure than humans, so he's still pretty damn tough, even when his invulnerability isn't in effect.

Basically what this adds up to is:

Punching Superman with a fist infused with magic is like punching a, markedly denser, regular guy with the same magic fist, though your fist will probably take a bit more recoil due to his denser structure.

Also, if a spell is cast on Superman it will have the same effect as if it were cast on any normal human. No more, no less.

Sunlight:

Red sunlight doesn't hurt him, it just doesn't give him any powers. However, his body also stores yellow sunlight like a battery. This results in his powers being drained away slowly due to not having anything feeding into them. However, the weakest he can get is the level of a regular kryptonian.

Major forms of Kryptonite:

Green - Removes his powers and slowly kills him.

Red - Totally random effect, lasts 1-2 days, after the effect wears off Superman is immune to that particular piece of red kryptonite forever.

Red (Television Version) - Removes his inhibitions and morals.

Gold - Permanently removes kryptonian ability to metabolize yellow sunlight, taking away their powers forever.

Your question has been answered; there are several ways to get around Superman's strength and invulnerability, just like Raiden, Fujin, and the other God characters defeated by mortals.
