Surprised no one mentioned this about the Microsoft/Midway thing...

If Microsoft were to buy Midway, which may happen. Bill Gates apparently was looking into getting some stock, but nothing is concrete. Anyways, if that were to happen, doesn't Microsoft have a deal/contract with Studio Gigante? I remeber hearing John Tobias talking about it once. So if all this were to happen, it's quite possible John could at some point be working on a future Mortal Kombat with the old team. Because now Midway would be now a Microsoft Co. and Studio Gigante has a deal to develop titles for them. It's a longshot, but a very possible one. How cool would that be?

Not to mention, if Microsoft was planning to take ownership of Midway, they would have done it by now, before Sony had any oppurtunity to hear the rumors and act first.

just to note why wasnt this thread moved to the general discussion board.Why makes rules if you cant inforce them.I dont mind whats he talking about but if you get on to other ppl about putting stuff in the wrong board then you should get mad or not mad but say something to everyone and closed it or move it to the right one.Just tring to be fair,cause its not right for you to let someone post in the wrong board but not let someone else do it.

why didnt you close this thread if you went ahead and closed mine.Someones not doing their job.This belongs in the general discussion ......i think its funny and wrong and immature they went after mine just cause it upset them more then this one and or others as well.

While, I know that some people say that this should be in the general discussion. But, this post is more about a future Mortal Kombat game with the possibility of John Tobias returning, than a Microsoft buy out of Midway. Since there is no other future MK game forum besides deception, i put it here.

i remembered last night that some one said this was old news. and now i read it on gamespot, it says something new about buying midway. weird but true.
