i agree...tanya is nothing alike to scorpion or comes close to being the female version....allthough a female scorpion would be pretty hot...sorry tanya is not.

just because they have the same colors and other small similarities dosen't mean they're the same just different gender..... you did support it pretty well, though.

According to Ed Boon, Kitana and Mileena are the female versions of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but I think he meant in terms of ninja palette swapping. (Scorpion and Sub-Zero were palette swaps and mortal enemies in MK1, same holds true for Kitana and Mileena in MK2)

I think he meant in iconic value as well. Kitana & Mileena are arguably the most popular or recognized female characters.


Sub-Zero & Kitana are a lot alike though. Aside from the obvious...both blue ninjas...
- they were both raised to be assassins.
- both turned against their masters...Kitana turned on Shao Kahn and Sub-Zero abandoned the Lin Kuei.
- both developed into leaders and among the main heroes.
- Sub-Zero is arguably one of the most developed male characters and Kitana is arguably one of the most developed female characters.
- both have rivalries with similarly dressed opponents...Kitana has Mileena and Sub-Zero had Scorpion.
- both have sibling rivalries...Kitana, again, has Mileena and Sub-Zero now has Noob Saibot.
- both have best friends who were sent against them....Kitana has Jade who was sent to capture her in MK3, and Sub-Zero has Smoke who was programmed to kill him. Though while Kitana got Jade to join her, Sub-Zero hasn't been as lucky with Smoke.

Mileena and Scorpion have some simularities, but not so much...
- both are very obsessive about their goals
- both wear masks to hide something...Mileena hides her mouth & Scorpion hides his skull head.
- both were killed by their rivals at least once.
That's all I can think of. I don't think there really is a female Scorpion...neither literally nor essentially. There are no spear tossing, revenge crazed, spectre women in the game. As in essence, the closest you could get would probably be Mileena.
