Before I explain myself, I'd just like to say, Hey All!!!! it's been along time!.. [heh]... annnyyyway... [all kidding aside now]. I'm actually looking forward to this game more and more as it comes closer to it's release date. I'm all glad to hear about the game taking a jump back to it's roots as far as moves & combos are concerned. Now, I think this is game that would really benefit with a teamplay mode (something like mortal kombat 4's teamplay setup was). But instead incorporate 8 players with online play into the mix. Including any variation of 1v2, 1v3, 1v4, 2v2, 3v3 , 4v4 etc matches... Im not talking 2 v 2 at the same time. It would still be 1v1 (no tagging). I'll try to explain. Say you are in a 3v3 player match. Player 1 (Joe Smoe) on team 1 beated all 3 players on team 2 in a row in round one [so his teamates weenersnitzel and big guy didn't get a chance to play in the 1st round-no biggy!]. So when round two begins player 2 [Weenersnitzel] of team 1 would start. Then for round 3 (Big guy) would play. So basically what I'm saying is.. depending on how many players are playing per team is how many guaranted rounds to be played so everyone gets to play. Pretty much a best of 2v2 (2 rounds -player start swaps) 3v3 (3 rounds), 4v4 (4 rounds) etc.... So everyone is guaranteed to play.

Because It would be awesome being able to team up & would bring in more gamers (I'd say). If im not making sense just throw in MK4 and check the arcade teamplay mode. That setup with 8 players on live would be flawless!!
