Well, the Last Secret (not necessarily big, we don't know how good it is, last is more realistic) is still...a secret.
What we know about it is that the MK Dev Team said that there was at least one secret they knew that no one else had found yet (yet being refering to that time). When asked if there were any more characters, they answered that we had to keep playing to find out (which, for any idiot that may read this, hints to a "yes"). After that, when someone asked them for a hint of some kind to find the Last Secret, they said for us to press some combinations around the screens in the game.
Finally, what we know of possibilities for the Last Secret:
- it isn't the Version Number Code, because the Dev Team already denied it;
- if it really is a character, and considering that Moloch is playable with one of the Cheat Cartridges out there (I think GameShark), it may be Moloch. Then again, the guy's pretty poor in moves, and has no weapon (he allways has the Ball and Chain on);
- there is little to no chance of it being either Liu Kang or Shao Kahn, since they have been confirmed absent in the next game, MK6, due to cause of death;
- the Noob Saibot rumor is false, he never walked around the Krypt, so he's probably not him. Also the Dev Team said he would only be back when Boon wanted him to;
- the Kenshi's eyes Artwork is just a gag for a Schwarzenegger movie (Last Action Hero), whose bad guy had a glass eye like that one;
- every other Fatality or Stage Fatality is already denied, since they did have a technical difficulty about them and didn't have the time;
- the Konga guy (the drummer) coming out if there's a draw is also not it, since THEY said they wanted it to be in it, but couldn't finish it in time;
- it's not Dairou either, as they said they didn't get him ready in time for the game (but he is nearly confirmed for MK6).
Other than that, everything can be the Last Secret. Oh, and btw, someone at Midway's Customer Support said they would probably release it after it got released in PAL territory, which happened a little over a week ago. So, unless someone else finds it, we're gonna have to wait a while.
