I don't think he needs a body guard, but just somebody that can do his dirty work.

That's true, but having body guards is also kind of a way of showing his power and influence. Also, say if somebody is really strong and so his bodyguards take them on first, even if they lose he can still observe how his foe fights so he can have a slight edge.

Mainly though I would just associate making Kitana his bodyguard more of an egotistical power trip than anything else.

I guess you're right, but putting someone like Kitana as a body guard strengthens his arsenal. The Earth warriors won't want to harm her.

With Kitanas strength and knowledge he can get information off her and manipulate others as he sees fit. Taking over Edenia using Kitana would be pretty easy too. He can use that as a second base which is probably why Mileena is there.

And the name of the game is Deception..so she could want her to pose as being on the "good" side and update Onaga on their plans and stuff. That could be HER deception.

I actually think Kitana being 1 of his bodyguards is cool.

The info said she was 1 of them, so my guess is that Li mei is the other.

And the sub-boss is probably his main male bodyguard.

The Dragon King may not NEED a bodyguard, but having Kitana on his side will certainly screw with Sindel and maybe Liu Kang's heads.

Think of how the warriors would deal with the DK's bodyguards being Raiden, Liu Kang and Kitana.

You're right that he doesn't need them, but what a psychological edge that would be.

i dont think li mei would be his bodyguard, she is nothing special, nobody would doubt about killing her and she obiusly would be easy defeated by any of the others, but i think that his main body guard is going to be a really big monster and kitana is just going to be used to confuse the warriors

I am happy with Kitana has Dragon King as his bodgaurd. Good for the plot.

I'll just make one quick statement.

Actually, Li Mei is a very strong fighter. According to her Konquest story in DA she singlehandedly took down many soldiers under Kano's command and also went on to say that she probably would have beaten his ass down too if Quan Chi hadn't interrupted.

She would make a good and strong bodyguard for Onaga, even though I don't like the idea. Ok, carry on.

a lot of big powerful boss have henchmen and bodyguards. i think it is part of the criteria to have them. it give him more power if he can tell one group to do this and the other group to do this, saves time. plus you never know when someone will try to assianate him. he needs the extra eyes even though noone will try

im guessing you read my theory about Li Mei huh? anyway, i dont really care whats her new occupation is. as long as she is in the game, i am happy.

think about it .. the dragon king can beat the hell out of anything and anyone he wants to . but why bother haveing to go to all the trouble to do everything yourself if you can get the enemys own champions to do it for you . at a whim he can make them take any place he feels would be nice to own . the group of people trying to stop this guy would have to go through their own people and princess kitana would be a bit hard becuase lui kang and her have the whole love thingy going on . lui kang wont allow people to attack her and he sure as hell aint gonna attack her himself so the dragon king has a huge phsycological advantage as well as muscle advantage his enemys cant touch him !

Li Mei is strong, and one of my faves thanks to her new look....but she is no better then Sonya. Not even as strong.

Don't let your biased views on Sonya cloud your judgement Queve lol She's at least on equal terms with her in fighting skill, if not for the fact she's capable of defeating Kano in a straight up fight.

But back to the Kintaro or Kahn thing, no, of course not. Li Mei probably would not be able to take either one on one but when used in conjunction with Kitana or whoever else may be under Onaga's control than certainly. At the very least the body guards could be used as foder to slow down or weaken a powerful foe so Onaga could have a "relatively" easy time destroying them.

ok, well, like with the Kitana situation, thats really cool and smart and all and yea, he can have some warriors to do his diry work but he dont need no allies, hes strong and he has an undefeatable army.....hes unstoppable...so since hes so strong, he doesnt need any help and he knows that, maybe thats y hes using warriors, but later he will decieve them FOR SURE....cuz he KNOWS hes unstoppable.....thats y its called Deception....

Kitana HAS to be in Deception, because it's pretty hard to bodyguard someone if your not around them.

i dont think that he was murdered, first of all he survived the direct attack of quan rayden and shang so i dont think that could be murdered, and if he was it had to be someone a lot more powerful than jade, like a elder go, also the dk died before jade was born
