The Dragon King is the Sub Boss

In early trailers, like in the penultimate version of the official web, we see the Onaga's face, not Baraka's face. Baraka isn't Dragon King, The Dragon King is Onaga. The DK is the Final Boss and the Main Antagonist. Onaga isn't in the Select Screen. Boon compared Onaga with Goro & Motaro because he's big and harder, and this sub-bosses are more difficult than the Final Bosses (Shang Tsung, Shinnok & Shao Kahn). The MKDA's history went on the Deadly Alliance, and these were the final bosses. The MKD's history went on Onaga, The Dragon King, and he's the fu****' Final Boss!!!

Yeah, I just got from Boon's comparison of the DK to Goro, Motaro etc, that the DK will be the gigantic badass of this game. Not necessarily that he'd be the gigantic badass sub-boss. Onaga is not on the select screen, and I could've sworn that Boon stated in some magazine or internet site that the DK wouldn't be a selectable character. He also stated that the final boss would not be selectable. Add 2 and 2 together...
Anyways, we've been told that the sub-boss WILL be selectable. Candidates include:
Rayden: He's on the select screen, and we know that he's a little...er...different since he blew himself up. We just don't know how. Plus, having the leader of all things good turn evil would definitely fit with the theme of the game.
Reptile: His MK:DA storyline is definitely connected to the DK. Some seem to believe that Reptile IS the DK. It's possible. Reptile...Dragon...Who knows. Maybe, how about this, you fight Reptile as the sub-boss, and then he turns into the DK right in front of you and you fight him as the boss!? Kinda like Ogre and True Ogre from Tekken 3. Plus, the original select screen had a darkened character that looked an awful lot like Reptile.
Baraka: Probably the most far fetched, but why would his eyes and face be in the first movie that talks about "a sinister force hides in the shadows, intent on dominating every realm." Plus, he is the general of part of the DK's armies. Enough to make him the sub boss perhaps?
Noob/Smoke: I know that they are fused into one character, and that they are selectable, but I'm not biting on this one until I see some plotline on these two. So far I have seen nothing that would lead me to believe that they have anything to do with the DK.
Liu Kang: We don't know if he's good or evil, zombie/ghost or human. But he's back, and we know that he was dead at some point. Is it possible that the DK brought him back to life to fight for him? Kinda like Rayden, it'd be interesting to see the champion of all things good working for the boss of all things evil. It goes with the theme.
Shang Tsung and Quan Chi: I know, neither are on the select screen. But would it really shock anyone to see one or both of these guys as super unlockables? They are in the intro movie, Rayden teleports them out, so they're still alive, and for a while they are a part of the "desperate alliance." Could the two bosses of MK:DA factor into the need to destroy the DK? I wouldn't write either of these guys off just yet.
Shao Khan: Again, not on the select screen. But he's just the kind of character that would be worth unlocking. Most fans like him, and want to see him return. Plus, we never actually saw him die. A long shot at best, but the MK team seems to be listening to the fans on this one, so ya never know. Plus, who the heck is that guy about to get sliced in half by Tanya's giant axe in the Gamepro screen shot? A lot of people seemed to have made the argument that it was Khan.
Stryker: Isn't it obvious?? :)
Other ideas?
