If you all remember the image of the Dragon King from Raiden's MKDA ending he doesn't look anything at all like the version we now believe is the Dragon King (Shadowy figure with huge horned helm) Now in you opinion is this because they decided to change the appearance of the character or is who we believe to be the DK not really him perhaps a new sub-boss or something similar?

I think it was just an appearance change. I'm not even sure they knew what the DK would look like to begin with, so they just put something "king-like" for Raiden's ending.

maybe thats what raiden remembered the dragon king to look like. He has a new apperance now after being reborn?

Yeah I agree that they probably didnt know what the Dragon King Would look like or only had rough diea. In the images we've seen, does the Dragon King have wings? What do u think of the whole 'Dragon' thing? do u think he is actually a Dragon or a member of a dragon like race? Maybe he's a vampire???

I think he is just a Dragon monster hybrid since I doubt he is actually like a real myth dragon since he would be huge and not anything like a fighter to say the least.

I highly doubt he's a vampire and I highly doubt he is a Shokan. The DK imo is one of a kind so far, just like Shao Kahn is one of a kind.
