Now that Kano and Raiden have been announced, we have but one final character. With 50 characters left to choose from, whom do you think it will be?

i beleive it`ll be kung lao i think he`s more iconic than the other characters i know no johnny cage he`ll be dlc

Kano and sJax should not be in the game, imo. Two of the following: Cage, Lao, Mileena or Reptile should be in their places. If Gamespots update is accurate and there are two palces left, then two of the aforementioned characters should be in these spots. If not, then one of them will do.

With gamespot confirming a 22 character roster, there is still a 50% percent chance that Mileena will indeed make it into this game. Can't have Sub Zero and Scorpion, the original ninjas of MK1 and not have the original assassins of MK2 together as well. I say if Mileena isn't in then hell, Sub Zero should have been left out too. Cause like others keep saying in reference to Mileena not needing to be in because Kitana already is, same could be said for Sub & Scorp if you ask me. But anyway, my guess is that the last two spots will be filled by none other than Mileena & Reptile. Or at least that is what I hope. As if Kano & Jax weren't bad enough, please do not fill the last spots with lame characters like Johnny Cage. I liked him in the movie, but in game I have never cared for him.

Wait, if it's 22 characters, and one unplayable 'merged' boss, then that would make it 11 playable on each side...and thus, there are TWO characters yet to be announced for MK and DC...right? Or did I miss something (I don't listen to the podcasts anymore)?

Somebody please confirm.

Gamespot confirmed there are at least two more playables on each side, so this thread isn't needed yet. I'm closing it to avoid confusion.
