Hey, Me and My Brother Were Playing. I was Sub and he was Baraka. So I Killed him and i gave him a 2 Sec. Head Start for Hara-Kiri (first time For him). So the fatalaty/hara-kira kicks in at the same time. For the first part it looked normal utill sub zero froze When he shot his beam. He rips his own head off from baraka and throws it and misses completely. He then stands in a headless victorypose.

well that surprised me. I did that sub-zero fatality against jade and nightwolf and both just have sub-zero clad in an icy blue after his freeze. As far as a head coming off...not yet for me.

EXCELLENT!! what a work of art this movie was! impressive job man, i have never seen such a complete hara kiri fatality glitch video for deception.

my favorite part was the kenshi thrust glitch, where he literally does a bow and then his upper torso falls off. HILARIOUS. all of them were so funny. you did them all on the slaughter house stage, i wonder why?

you told me you composed the music for this movie yourself. how did you do that? it was very good! how long was the original track that you created? you must have looped it, more than once, im guessing.

you also told me that you were able to do all of these by yourself with your own 2 hands. what inredible ambidexterity you must have!!! astonishing!! i could never dream of doing that.

you should be very proud of this video, it must have taken so long to make because of manipulating both controllers by yourself.

I did some touch ups and I have version 2 on filefront. The music was originally around 4 minutes long. I used MTV's Music Mixer to create the song and then I tweaked parts to loop it to fit around 9 minutes. The two controller part isn't as hard as you think. It was a whole lot harder playing co-op mode of shaolin monks by myself to unlock all of the secrets. The hardest part was me and a dummy vs. mileena, kitana, and Jade. And I did it!

For some reason the camera behaves differently on the slaughterhouse so I chose it for the video. I hope more people are as impressed with the video as you are. Below is the link for version 2 http://files.filefront.com/mkd_HKG_svid_r2avi/;5286710;;/fileinfo.html

There were some errors in revison 1 and I think that some of the timing was off. Also, a lot of character's fatalities are not include. It's safe to say that the reason is two-fold.
1. 9 minutes is long enough
2. Some character's fatalities did a whole lot of nothing anyway

i watched version 2 and it is of course awesome, just like the first one. i have them both now! looks great man. i loved it, you said you forgot hotaru's slam in the first one? and you included it in the second version? very nice man!!!! ill go watch it again to make sure.

I hope this is not old news but I figured out how to do fatalities for ghost and shujinko 13. I know that they will work with the F+HK glitch but i'm not in a hurry to try it. I also have figured out how to do fatalites against the mkda characters without the game freezing. It turns out that only a few will work against them as well as some stage deathtraps. The key is to do one that doesn't dismemeber or decapitate the mkda character. However, the slaughterhouse and golden desert traps work even though they smear the mkda character. Another interesting thing is that sometimes liu kang's possession against shujinko makes liu kang's face appear at his stomach. Weird.

Also, I'm getting like zero to no feedback on my video. Please give me the pros and cons guys. Later.

It seems like the only attention mkd is getting is new players who just bought the game and maybe some guys that are answering questions for those same people. I notice that the combo thread hasn't been updated in a while and a lot of people haven't checked my post in weeks. So I gave it an update.

I now have the links in my signature to both the glitch video and a fatality "timed" music video featuring most of the mkda action replay characters.

Sounds good. I'll probably be taking a rain check on the Shaolin Monks stuff because I haven't played the game yet due to a lack of funding, but I'd really, really like to play it.

But hell, if you got more Deception stuff to show, that'd be awesome.

first, you don't need ANY cheat device to do this glitch. player one does his fatality when it is time. then player 2, as player one is trying to finish him, types in the hara kiri. If you time it right, you will get this glitch to work. it does take proper timing and some practice to get the hang of it down.

Whenever I do this glitch, what ever the fatality would do to the oppenent, it does to whoever does the fatlity. However, the oppenent does not move at all.

And it says "Hara-Kiri".

we'll since people are interested then i'll give you all some more to think about.
As crazy as the glitch is, there are still some distinct patterns.

Take nightwolf's hatchet throw. If you've seen the vid or done it yourself you will notice that the opponets weapon gets launched at nightwolf and goes off in the background spinning wildly...but have you done this against nightwolf or sub-zero? something different happens.

The weapon is thrown but then immediately it sticks into the loser.
Some other things to note are that scorpion's spear dismember fatality only works against himself and shujinko. maybe because shujinko has scorpion's spear move.

But wait, shujinko has sub-zero's freeze but sub-zero's frozen stomp fatality does NOT work against shujinko. Only against a sub vs sub match.

Some other rules are that of weapons. Take kira's pin and hug fatality. It will only work against those that have two weapons(darrisu and baraka count as two weapons) other wise the game will freeze. Maybe it only freezes on playstation 2 but I don't have xbox so I'm can't test that out.

Some other things to note are that any of the fatalites that use one or two weapons willl not work agast noob-smoke since he has no weapons.

One other thing is that if you use AR max and try to finish them, the game will freeze (on ps2, not xbox) unless it is a "pain only" fatality. like noob's stars, dairou's rib remove, tanya's fatalities,etc.

so there is much more with this glitch. I thought the popularity died but I'm glad people are still interested. later.

this is one of my favorite glitches for this game and i am glad this thread is still recieving attention, HUGE ENOURMOUS thanks to JFcalibur for doing the most extensive research on this hara kiri fatality glitch, its HILARIOUS and i hope it eventually becomes the next internet phenomenon like the all your base video.

it was funny to see havik rip off his own leg and hit his own head yet he managed to kill liu kang

I'm glad someone else was able to do the glitch. Tell me, was it easier using another friend on controller 2 or harder? since none of my friends like mortal kombat here in my neighborhood, I have always had to do this alone. That made it hard. But after some practice and patience, it was doable. let me know also if this was on xbox or ps2. later.
